Nolva vs. Aromasin for PCT?

A little while back, a friend of mine wrote me a few sample cycles before he went of to BUDS, and I figured I'd stick with this simple one:

Week 1-10 250 mg Test E 2x/week
Day 10-70 Proviron 12.5 mg ED
Day 24-84 Nolva 10 mg ED (to keep bloat down)
Day 85-115 Nolva 20 mg ED

My question is: is nolvadex sufficient for the PCT? I saw some threads with people recommending aromasin over nolva, but what are the pros and cons of one over the other? How does the cycle look as a first cycle overall? I wanted to go with proviron because I saw some great effects on my buddies in terms of density and all that.

Weight: 183
Height: 5'10"
BF: Scale says around 15, but I don't trust it (since I'm visibly leaner and the bf reading hasn't changed much)

I plan on doing this cycle when I get closer to 10% or so.

If I'm not mistaken Nolvadex is more for anit-estrogen and not use for natural test simulation.

Aromasin does both but Aromasin is more of an anti-estrogen but it does stimulate your natural test.

Proviron is more of a test stimulation but it also is an anti-estrogen. If your nothing having problems with gyno I'd go with the Proviron.

Nolvadex is good for blocking estrogen at the breast area but I have never found it to be a good anti estrogen or even stimulate my natural test production.

Check into clomid to work in with your PCT, tried true

Clomid works for PCT but can make you feel like woman on the rag. I prefer nolvadex now but used to always use clomid. Aromasin Is NOT a good PCT drug.

At that test dose and taking proviron during the cycle i would just leave the nolvadex out until PCT. Your estrogen levels should be to elevated on that low of a dose anyhow. Blood test during will tell though.

Aromasin for sure and here is why (this references a comparison to Arimidex but it explains why Aromasin is better for use on cycle):

"As I posted, Arimidex is better at inhibiting sulfatase than it is E2. Your worry for the most part is E2 (estradiol). Also Arimidex competes with testosterone for the aromatase as a way of inhibiting the conversion you would get from aromatase. Because it competes and leaves the aromatase alive, so when you come off you get a flood of estrogen, or rebound.
Aromasin does not compete. It's suicidal. It attaches to the aromatase and kills it. In doing so it does a much better job of reducing E2 AND there is no rebound when you come off of it because it's killed the aromatase.

At 500mgs of test a week Idon;tthink you'll need any sort of estrogen management. If you do, Aromasin is an anti-aromatase and will do a much better job than nolvadex. Aromasin stops the problem from happenening. it bindes to the aromatase enzyme and makes it inactive..Nolvadex(a SERM) is a band-aid once the estrogen is already elevated and in your system. nolvadex is much better for PCT. Proviron is a very poor choice for estrogen management. Clomid at 50mgs eod on that cycle will help keep your testes from turning to peas.

for serious estrogen suppression Arimidex is superior to Aromasin and Femara is hands down the most potent AI availble. I have never seen rebound estrogen with arimidex but have with Femara. Arimidex will negatively affect your lipid profile.

Ive had good success running aromasin stacked with nolvadex in PCT. And no rebound this way.

Standard pct protocol calls out use of Clomid and nolvadex. Clomid helps restart hpta and nolva blocks e2 from binding to breast tissue. I'd suggest reading William llewellyns anabolics book or at least his pct information. I've found it to be very helpful

i wish i saved the link so i could of just copied it to u...anyway it was a doctors study that pretty much said aromasin was the best an safest way too go...said that other blockers messed with ur lipid profile to much...an too the guy who posted ur not gonna need a blocker with 500mg of test ur wrong....if everyone was the same there would b one set standard....

Use Adex on cycle as an ai bro. Nolvadex is better to use during pct as it competes for the receptor in your mammary glands stopping the onset of gyno when your T is low and E will be higher

Run either arimidex or aromasin. Aromasin is waiter on lipids but arimidex seems to work faster
