What would you guys consider a "heavy" or impressive incline bb press. Or should I say at what weight would that start.

For me anything over 405 for strict reps is real impressive.
315 seems pretty common.
Still good IMO..... But anything 405 and up is the real deal in my mind. Not so much a single... But able to rep it with control.

When I see 225 with good form , im impressed.

Anything above 315 I would consider impressive... Most gyms I would rarely see people lift 315 flat let alone 315 incline

Just putting it out there. I don't see a lot of people at my gym go past 225. Recently I've been getting 315 for 6 or 285 for 12. I'm pretty happy about it but 405 is another level. Lol.

That's pretty strong buddy.

My buddy does 225 incline for 50 strict reps (touching chest to full extension) to me that is crazy impressive. Also he only weighs 215-220

315 well controlled is impressive. if they have a spot on the bar, it's no go though lol

Ha. I have a spot I tell em do t you touch that bar till I'm stuck bro. I mean stuck. Usually happens about 10-12 285 around 5 or 6 on 315.

to me, that's impressive

Thanks man. Although incline is my core chest excercise. I haven't done flat bb in aong time so that prob sucks lol. It's all relative. I hit incline and decline or hammer strength for the rest then flys etc. So....

225 on incline for 50 at 220 or so...... That is crazy!

Yeah that's sounds crazy. Are these IN A ROW?! Lol. Jk then that's like a 5 600lb incline. Nuts

Lol there's no way he could even dream of doing that much he just has sick muscular endurance. His max is not what you'd think, probably about 400 for 2 or 3

Your buddy would out-bench anyone at the NFL Combine. 225 incline for 50 reps is insane.

I say 315x1 is pretty dang good. 225 means you've been doing this for awhile.

405-- thats sick

Jeez...high standards in here  Best I ever got to was 225 for 8 reps, and that number is far from my grasp at the moment. Working my way back up...

405 for a single rep is my goal this year.

So repping it is pretty damn impressive. 315 for reps is legit too. I think most people that workout for a good length of time can do 225 for at least three reps.

To me it varies with the person doing it. I can bust out 315 for a triple at 170lbs. thing is I'm 5'3 with short arms. but id say 405 for reps or even a single would be a heavy lift. regardless of size.

Man im weak. :p

Impressive lifts though from you guys. I think the most i have ever got is 270 for 8-10 reps, my incline has gone up tremendously over the past year or so though, so i am happy with that.
