My 1st.sponsarhip pretty good I made all the calls pretty much submitted a resume things started moving forward,always looking for more sponsors.rite now I'm happy.

It was great until they required me to take 20 some odd pics of myself each month. Not that vain. Sorry. Nice company though, but a little too demanding for my taste. Great supps though. Especially their whey. And I don't say that often.

ON/ABB was my first and they were great, gave me an assload of supplements a month and paid my airfare and hotel cost to all my shows, worked the Arnold booth and had a gigantic poster at the booth of one of my ON/ABB adds that ran in all the major fitness mags. its was a great gig! all I had to do was demo's monthly at different gyms and fitness places, GNC's, and such where I just pretty much gave away free supp. samples and explained the various supplements to people.

If you want a good chance at a sponsorship, have a big social media following and a great personality. There are tons of guys/girls that have a good physique.

I appreciate the honest question here. But ^^^ makes it sound like you HAVEN'T competed yet....and if so, then you 100% don't need to worry about sponsorships.

Getting sponsored is all about what you can do for the company, not what they can do for you.

^^^^ This. A company can give away product or pay a person but it only becomes worth it for them if you are driving them more business. If you can approach a company with an outline of specific and measurable things you can do for them they are much more likely to give it a thought.

I agree. People/companies pay for advertising and would think of sponsoring an athlete as such. If you approach a company have your shit in order and let them know how sponsoring you would benefit them.

ON/ABB started going a different route with their advertising and wanted a new look, and also I was not in a "prime location" being in western Kentucky. I am sponsored by underground sponsors and also the owner of my gym pays for my trips to shows and hotel cost.
