The researchers asked 12 healthy,physically active men between the ages of 25 and 30 to complete several lower-body strength training exercises 12 hours after either engaging in or abstaining from sexual activity.The results found that having sex did not,as some people believe,weaken their muscle strength.
1.Sex before workout
Advantages:
Testosterone levels rise as a response to sexual stimuli.Therefore,an athlete could benefit by being exposed to a sexual relation prior to his workout.He could then exercise with increase testosterone levels and aggression.
Disadvantages:
When you do engage in sexual activity before training sessions,then this may reduce your ability to push yourself to the max and see progress quickly.
2.Sex After Workout
Advantages:
One hour post-exercise,the athlete should achieve ejaculation.
Depending on your energy levels it might not be your all-time best performance but it feels great to have sex while you've got those workout endorphins already happening.The increase in killer cells will prevent over-training.
Disadvantages:
It can cause you to feel tired and weak and you could faint.
In conclusion:It is up to you.
Just time your workouts so they don't interfere with sexual or workout performance.Both activities should be included in a well-balanced life.As long as you engage in sex long before or after a workout, sexual activity helps you see quality results faster.
