So my gf is convinced she is losing hair. I personally doubt she is, but gotta make the lady happy.

Was wondering what good vitamins/supplements there are for hair. She went and bought some stuff at GNC but GNC is shit, wanna get some actual legit stuff for her.

Suggestions? I know nothing about this kinda thing...

Thanks

biotin, good multi vitamin.

I believe biotin helps with the health of the hair but doesn't do much for hair loss.

I've heard of ladies having good luck with men's prostate health products for thinning hair since dht issues directly relate to prostate and hair loss.

Im using Regenepure Shampoo and notice no shedding on test/tren.

Haven't used it myself but Silica is supposed to strengthen hair follicles, along with plenty of other benefits:

strengthens the blood vessels
improves the elasticity of the joints
prevents the body from absorbing aluminium and flushes aluminium from the tissues
stimulates the metabolism and division of cells
delays the tissues’ ageing processes
increases mobility
alleviates pain in osteoarthritis
relieves back pain
aids in bone healing
strengthens hair
normalises circulation
prevents wrinkles
helps to normalise haemorrhoidal tissue
regulates the bowels
helps prevents kidney stones and heals urinary tract infections
repairs and maintains vital lung tissue
tones the upper respiratory tract
strengthens nails
improves collagen levels
hardens tooth enamel
slows the degenerative processes of connective tissues
helps to remineralise bones

I was a hair stylist for 9 years and the best thing to strengthen hair is a solid diet. Biotin, prenatal vitamins, etc. etc. only work when you have a crappy diet that lacks those minerals and vitamins. Protein is what makes hair grow. You can buy her something to make her happy but just know that none of it will work if she eats right. If she has a crappy diet then some of those might help. In all my years of hair styling the most common cause of hair loss was quite often anorexia or stress. Get her a good diet and her hair will become healthy again.

Thanks for all the replies. Didn't think there was anything she could really do but just wanted to confirm.

She eats very healthy but her job is extremely stressful so that is definitely the cause.

Make sure she gets enough carbs and fats.

Also, she should get bloodwork. Maybe her thyroid is slow.

Anti inflammatory supps may help with thinning hair. Also have her try a caffeine shampoo.

tb500 made my hair look alot thicker.

I've tried everything for hair loss. I'm fighting a losing battle

kombucha tea(however You spell it)...helps darken and regrow hair overtime

Biotin and silica are definitely two most popular over counter products that I sold when working in vitamin store

5,000mcg biotin 1x day

Silica or may find it labeled as horse tail is 500mg usually 3x per day

I've had customers tell me hydrolyzed collagen is also very good for hair but sold that more for brittle finger nails than hair

Its early and my wife isnt up yet. She actually uses a product she got from a drugstore, and they are always sold out of it. Its for healthier hair, and its just a supplement.. I will check and post up what it is when she is awake!

Hey,I am agree with your reviews about the supplements for healthy hair.
Most of the people use the supplements for keep strong, healthy and shining
hair so i like the supplements for hair health....

Genostim

I use Nioxin Shampoo & Conditioner. It helps with hair loss.

I also found a supplement that I started taking last year and my hair is coming back in. I lost it due to hypothyroid. It also helps nails, skin, eyelashes and hair growth. It's called Genostim. You can get it from Genostim.com/ :headbang:

Hair loss can be linked to thyroid especially with a western diet. Western diets are notoriously low in iodine which plays a key role in maintaining a healthy and balanced thyroid.

Try supplementing the following;

Iodine 15mg per day
Selenium 200-400mg per day
Zinc piconate - 100mg per day
Molybdenum - 200mg per day
Magnesium - 500mg per day

Also had coconut oil (organic, raw, unpasteurised) at 20g per day. The correct balance of omega 3:6:9 is also important. Flaxseed oil is very high in omega 3 as is wild salmon.

Fix from within first.

I do not think that you need to have something like that,All you gotta have is something that is natural and works for you,Take stuff that is completely natural because that has an appropriate amount of substances which can work like nothing else for hair take veggies and fruits.
