I get all my electronics from Tigerdirect. Most of what I buy is refurb. and I have never had a problem with any thing I have bought. I prefer Samsung but thats my preference. Considering most of what I buy I do not have to pay sales tax on and I usually get free shipping I can't do better locally.

Hey buddy Sliced, refurbished Tv's are the best out there IMHO. Thats all I purchase buddy. Its a BIG MONEY saver. I literally save hundreds of dollars buddy. All you have to do is buy a little extend warrantee on them for 40-50 dollars more, and your Tv is safe for 3-5 more years. You jus can't go wrong buddy

I've had both good and bad experiences with refurbished electronics. You should be safe getting a refurbished tv. All of my monitors are samsung, great quality.
Buying refurbished motherboards and graphics cards are another story:banghead:

Agreed. I would not buy a refurbished motherboard or graphic card:naughty: TV'S are good to go though

Samsung, LG and Sony. LED LCD is what I have and its great. Some go up to 80".

Dont get a refurb bro you can get a nice samsung at best buy for a real reasonable price now a day. I got a 46 inch led built in wifi with 2 usb for media play back. AVI=, MKV files etc for 599

sony bravia led best tv hands down, i will only buy bravia best color black is true black not dark grey you have to calibrate settings though backlight should be at 2 backlight is actually black level google good calibrations and it takes time to adjust to but you can get a 40 inch for a little over 400 i own only sony and if you have ps3 they all sync so you can turn ps3 on and tv will come on and use tv remote for ps3 hope this helps
