Hi,
Any ladies have experience with this? I'm not finding much on how it affects women specifically. My wife is very interested in trying and I just want to do a little research for her beforehand. Any help would be appreciated... Dosages? Adverse side effects?
 
Barbie can you elaborate a bit? Not sure what you mean... Like sucked up kinda look? or?
She tried clen and the amped up feeling got to her even at a real low dose. Mainly wants to lose weight her diet is pretty decent. Shes a pescatarian so lots of fish and veggies. Shes not "overweight" in my opinion but wants to knock out that last 10 or so pounds
 
can ne a bit aging as the fat on your face can lower quickly and its not a great look..to be honest i cant remember how i felt just didnt like how i looked...what is her training like? if she eats fish and veg...she shouldnt have a problem with weight? unless the other things she eats are not healthy?? what is the rest of her diet like? x
 
T3 can have some very bad side affects, like completely ruining your thyroid and having to be on meds the rest of your life. Even if you cycle it correctly this can still happen.
Not worth it to lose 10 pounds IMO.
And yes, it burns muscle as well as fat. It's best taken with steroids to keep muscle loss to a minimum.
Clen is a dirty drug, wouldn't touch that either. Albuterol is a better alternative, the half life is about 4 hours, so if sides appear and she hates them they'll be gone much quicker than Clen. Or an EC stack might be even better. I'm super SUPER sensitive to Stims and can handle EC (sometimes I do Yohimbine HCL with it).
But to be honest, if her diet was where it should be she should have no problem losing 10 pounds eating 10-20% below maintanence. Eating "clean" or healthy means nothing, when it comes down to it it's calories in vs out.
Have her weigh everything she eats on a digital scale for a week. Its a pretty big eye opener.
 
T3 is not a maintenance protocol. If you're not dieting or prepping for a specific date like a competition or a photoshoot or something, the "results' are not maintainable. I.e. your body reflects your lifestyle. If you don't like how you look now - it is a result of your current lifestyle - diet, training, cardio, recovery, stress levels, etc. If you want different results you need to change something. Fine, run a t3 cycle. And when you come off, what are you going to do? What change in your lifestyle is going to maintain those results once the thyroid manipulation is no longer in play?

IMO start by looking at the diet. Its never enough to say "I eat good" or "I eat clean". How many soft & pasty vegetarians do you know? I know quite a few. I'm always fascinated how it seems the least healthy people are the ones walking around Whole Foods w/ their organic food and poorly balanced diets.

I would ask that you post her diet & training program before self-medicating w/ thyroid medication. Seriously. This should be an easy win w/a few tweaks to the diet & training.
 
Just looked at this thread again... Sassy you make complete sense and I think were going to hold off on any extras right now until she gets a better diet and gets more consistent with it.
