TRT doc search help,....PLEASE!!

I see members all the time posting about needing help with solid TRT doctors. I always reply with the same post; they’re out there.

January 1st brought a change in insurance and my Dr is no longer in the plan. What did I do to find a new physician? The EXACT homework that I did to find my original doctor.

Google ED, Low T, TRT, HRT, etc in your city. Make calls and see which ones not only handle TRT, but specifically those they prescribe injections. DO NOT waste time without calling and speaking with an assistant to clearly verify this.

“Oh yea, I’m pretty sure he does.” Not good enough, get % confirmation. Then and only then, do you make an appt.

Anyway, long story short, with a few hours of research and a few phone calls, I have a new physician with a new 10cc script. He wants an initial three month check up, vs the standard six month, but BAM, I’m back in the system.


Let’s be clear though, this is legitimate TRT from a legit dr, working at a very large, multiple hospital health provider. One of the largest and best known hospitals in the US. So yes, you don’t need small single practice drs, quacks or online shysters for real, legit TRT.

my insurance had a change starting Jan 1, i am going to make a request to my Doc to rejoin the network, if he does not i search again, but the first time for me was really easy, so hopefully the 2nd time will be too if i need a new one, luckily i don't have a checkup until mid-late April.
