I was going to make a thread dedicated to exotic animal keepers like myself, but really all kinds of animals are equally important (except spiders, FUCK SPIDERS!!!!). Personally, I have 30ish snakes of various species/localities (plus the babies I produce and sell each year), from 3 ft ball pythons to 15ft burms and retics... plus a furry little ball of mischief and mayhem named Harley (cat) 
For me, animals represent the unblemished face of nature and are a source of great joy and fulfillment... to be frank, I like animals more than I like most people. I chose snakes as my specialty due to their ease of care and the simplistic nature of their attitude, plus it's nice to have an animal that doesn't bark and you only have to feed/clean once every 1-4 weeks!
Feel free to post pics of your animals of any kind... unless you keep tarantulas, in which case I hope you get hit by a bus. Just kidding... sort of
