I rescued this snake from my neighbors garage

He went into the back of their refridgerator. He (she) was extremely docile. I couldn't get him off my hand, he must have scensed the power of my chemically enhanced arms, and felt the squeeze of my GH swollen fingers.

I am not stepping on him in the photo. I put him down on the ground in my yard to escape and he wouldn't move. I have a lot of ivy covering my yard and a nice stream in the back. Plus I feed the squirells, chimpmunks and birds on my back deck - my cats stare out the window for hours. There should be plenty of food for this skinny King Snake.

Yes, I wanted to keep him. But my wife, who believes me to be legitimately insane, thinks 3 dogs, 2 cats, 8 water turtles and 2 tropical aquariums are enough. She doesn't want any pets. "I love animals, and my wife loves me"
And I love her.

Nice...I used to love catching snakes when I was a kid...except for their smell.
We have a serious copperhead epidemic here where I live, never in my life have I seen so many, walking the dog this year have almost stepped on 2 and the dog almost stepped on another two and thats right in the street.

Next thing you know your neighbor will be calling you about the sudden mice infestation. Very neighborly of you to help out and release it into the wild.
