Peanut butter, nuts, olive oil, about the easiest way to up calories and get some healthy fats.

Fats are easy to add, low in volume and high in caloric density, and generally you do not have to cook anything. Make shots of olive oil, flax seeds that are rich in omega 3 and fiber, nuts, butter, is really easy.

what he said.

It's easier then you think.

Don't complicate things

Good info thanks guys. I do have a tendency to over think simple stuff. I do peanut butter I'm just so damn tired of it. Gonna look into flax seeds forsure.

There's different stuff out there. Try macadamia oil - healthy fats, tastes like butter, good for cooking, and good for pouring on food.

I think we all get it dude.
I usually go with nuts because the chewing makes me feel LESS HUNGRY than just crushing 2 tblspoons of PB haha

I'd also throw in some avocados if you can.

Eat more fatty protein source.

Whole eggs- Not eggwhites
Chicken thighs - Not chicken breast
Full fat ground beef- Not 95% Lean ground beef
Whole milk - Not skim Milk

See the point. No need to add Oils, Just eat more fatty protein source.

Just eat more protein. It's the one macronutrient you can go crazy on an never put on significant fat (as long as it's lean cuts of meat).

Also, check out Layne Norton's "reverse dieting"

Fruit juices help as well. Ground meats make it easier to consume more.

You can only absorb what you digest. Keep that in mind. Slow weight gain is good imo

I would watch the saturated fat intake, especially when in a calorie surplus. It’s easily stored as body fat. Saturated fat is solid, thick, sludge texture. Your body stored it as fat easily. Poly and monosaturated fats you get from seeds, vegetable oils, nuts, etc. are more anabolic and can improve insulin sensitivity. I would limit the fatty meats to 1/3 or 1/6 of your protein intake.

That’s just my belief.

When you are in a calorie deficit or at maintenance butter, coconut oil, fatty meats, bacon, whole fat yogurt and milk, etc. is all okay because it won’t be stored as body fat.

Once you go over maintenance your body will store those saturated fats as body fat easily.

See article for reference. Very interesting.

Great article, thanks! Adding poly, monounsaturated fats makes sense, but its great to see it validated in a study.
