Raloxifene - Severe Digestive Issues/Lethargy/Mood

About 3 or 4 weeks ago i started a gyno reversal protocol using Raloxifene and Aromasin... And it actually works great!

Problem is, about the 2nd week into it, i started feeling like crap and having severe digestive issues. Several times i flat out shit a pool of blood in the toilet. I don't think it's hemorrhoids bc my stomach gurgles and hurts at times and my appetite disappears for a whole day at a time.

I also have been "off" both mentally and physically. I wouldn't say depressed, but my general mood and attitude and energy levels are not what they normally are.

Any insight? I think for now I'm just gonna drop this shit... Sucks bc it actually works, but it's affecting my life and my job too much.

I took 90-120mg for the first week or so and then down to 60mg... I had dropped it to 30mg and it wasn't shrinking as much so i went back up to 60mg.

My stomach hurts like fuck, like there is damage.

It's not from the Ralox or Aromasin. They don't cause you to shit blood and double over in pain. Something else is going on...and it doesn't sound good. Anytime someone is shitting blood with severe stomach pain, they should go to the hospital immediately, as it could be due to a number of extremely serious conditons. Hopefully not, but it's a definite possibility. Go to the hospital.

6 months ago my uncle thought his indigestion and stomach pain was due to a new foreign food he introduced into his system. 6 weeks later he died of Stage 4 stomach-colon cancer. A couple months after that, another uncle was diagnosed with cancer. Like the first, he thought his symptoms were due to something unimportant and ignored them. The funeral was yesterday.

The symptoms you're describing (shitting pools of blood combined with severe stomach pain) often signal very serious and even life-threatening conditions. Again, hopefully your issue it is due to something relatively benign, but you never know. It's not worth taking the risk. Get it checked out now.

And completed off topic from his health issues, these "gyno reversal" protocols are sometimes a little ridiculous too. Gyno just doesn't go away. It's there and you made it kinda smaller by fucking with your estrogen. Only way to get rid of it is to get it out...with a surgeon.

ive used ralox at 30 mgs a few cycles . im using it now on a 600 mgs test cycle @ 30 mgs. Its all i need , ive never had estrogen issues and nipples have always been fine. there ya go thats my experience with raloxifene

Had a similar experience with ralox. Killed my stomach and made me extremely dizzy for the first few hours of the day. It was research grade but it definitely reversed my gyno

If you research raloxifene side effects, it does cite digestive issues and depression. I just didn't think it would be this extreme.

It's been 2 days since my last dose and stomach discomfort and mood have improved a lot.

Never again, shit works but I'd rather go under the knife than to feel like that. Can't train or function in life.

Again Ralox doesn't cause people to "shit pools of blood"...and "severe" stomach pain is not a clinically documented side effect either. The combination if these two symptoms is certainly NOT a side effect of ralox use.

Something else was/is going on, but ralox is not it...and it certainly isn't the sole contributing factor. Was something in the product you used? Who knows, but I can tell you this. I know of several 100 people who have have now used lab tested ralox and not one of them has ever came back and told me anything like this has ever happened to them, nor has anyone in the boards, as far as I am aware, EVER reported something like this.

Clinically sited "digestive issues" is NOT the same thing as "shitting pools of blood in concert with severe stomach pain". They're not even in the same ballpark. Furthermore, if ralox ever caused anything even remotely close to what you have described, not only would it have been denied approval for prescription status, but many other people--both in the bodybuilding community as well AS the general public--would have been reporting it.

Attributing those severe symptoms to ralox would be no differnet than if someone claimed that Anavar caused them to shit poools of blood. No one would believe that the actual chemical at hand, Anavar, would responsible for that. It is not uncommon for all sots of medications to cause various forms of digestive upset, but what you described is an entirely differnet story.

So, it might not be the wsiest choice to place all the blame on ralox, especially when it has never been shown to cause this in either a clinical or anecdotal setting. I thinit is completely possible, perhaps even likely, that some of your digestive upset may have been caused by ralox, but the "shitting pools of blood" part doesn't sit right with me, as it signals severe gastrointestinal injury to the point where hospitalization is often required. As someone stated above, anal fissure can sometimes cause this, but being that it happend in combination with severe stomach pain, the signs point to something more serious. I'm glad you appear to be getting better, though.

Ralox is one of the most mild ancillaries out there, and one of the most effective. I've reversed gyno many many times with it and so have a bunch of friends of mine.


Unless OP has a severe allergy which is unlikely, i think there is some other issue he should get checked out by a physician.


SERMs can cause mood issues. Clomid is more likely to cause mood swings, nolvadex ; brain fog. They mess with your estrogen activity in the brain. Estrogen is essential for cognitive function, mood and libido.

I wouldn't say I had severe stomach pain, and if i did then I misspoke, but there was definitely heavy stomach discomfort and some pain.

Years ago on tren i would shit blood, a buddy told me same thing happened to him. I haven't touched tren in a long time.

These particular issues began after about a week or so of being on ralox, and they seemed to have died down some since discontinuing... Although i did wake up in the middle of the night and vomit last night.

To be fair, i'll diet great for a few days/week at a time and then have some disgusting cheat days. So I'm sure that factors in somewhat.

When taking AI and SERMs it is often better to take them at different times of day. I know in the literature for letrozole it says don't take in same sitting with some SERMS as it causes an absorption issue. I dunno if this applies to exem, but it might.
