How do you train legs?Do you use heavy weights or light weight but with a higher rep scheme?
I have been training mine as heavy as possible however I've now hit a plateau and am thinking of changing my quad training using lighter weights and higher reps in the range of 20-25 reps.Does higher volume produce bigger quads maybe??
Any suggestions are welcome.Thanks.

I think you should still go heavy on the basic compound movements like squats or smith machine squats but do some what lighter on leg presses and hacks and try for over 20 reps.

Quads generally respond to higher reps 10-15, AND heavy weight.

I like higer reps and more volume on quads and hams....Reps in the 20-25 range and volume for quads around 15 sets and 12-15 for hams...

you ever try just changing the order of your workout? sometimes i put squats at the way end-- can't go very heavy, but it really hammers them.

3-4 sets 225 for 30......or
3-4 sets 315 for 20

If your legs dont grow with that, then they're not going to!

Quads and Back need more volume to push blood into those large muscle groups!!

I dont above 5 reps in my squats. Usually sets of 2-3 is the norm. I do squat often and cycle the intensity.

I personally hate high rep leg work.

Squats, 1 heavy work set of 8 with a proper base... hit atleast the base every week without question. Do this for a year, all you need to know.

Heavy is relative to one's strength.
If you can lift it 12+ times, it's not heavy to you.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions.I will incorporate some of the wourkouts outlined here today and see how it goes.
