Making money is never an easy venture, if it is somewhat of a sizable chunk (500K+), I would seek out a small wealth management firm (2.5MM+ and you can usually get picked up by a firm with a bit more experience).

In today's market, returns of a minimum of 6% are commonplace, in my personal opinion anyone not bringing in 12%+ right now needs to re-strategize with their adviser immediately.

nyox, much love for you and your goods. Right now cash is king. Put your money where your passion is BUT Deflation is here for a while. Don`t rush into anything or do something bodybuilding just cause that`s what you know. Do something where the money is/ Right now we have an aging demographic. The largest portion of our population is retiring, think vacation homes, RV`s, that`s not everything, but.... Don`t think this is a normal economy, it`s not like anything seen in this generation. Stay lean, and ready to change at a moments notice, WITHOUT bank financing.

i like money markets,,,not going to make a killing but they safe and sure better than saving account,,,market so high and with time of yr it is numbers and quarters are going to be inflated for bout 4 months god for bid ppl save money after christmas with tax money,,,ppl going to spend it,,,thats a safe play until a pull back
