Anyone have their regular job and then have a job/business that brings in some additional income? Im looking to supplement my life with something that is not a huge investment but makes a little bit of added income on the side.

Depends on your field.

I'm a teacher and my MA is in Reading. So on the side I work one on one as a Reading Specialist and educational consultant.

What do you do now and are there any areas you could branch off into?

Thanks for the reply. I have been in all kinds of fields in my life. Currently in the global shipping industry and really not much to branch off of part time. Its all M-F 8-5.

Pizza delivery in the nice neighborhood. They gets lots of take out all the time and tip well. You know the areas that do not tip well, avoid those

Real estate or dividend paying stocks are a good way to supplement your cash flow.

Landscapeing, mowing, concrete work, etc. Lots of thing you can get into.

Bouncing. I make 300 SEK an hour which is 35 USD. Couple of nights a month makes for a really good extra income.

Drive for Uber or Lyft. I got myself approved to drive for Lyft, but never did anything with it since I'm pretty wiped out at the end of a work day.

But the potential is good, especially if you don't drink and are willing to make yourself available during peak times when people get out of the bar.

I'm thinking of getting back into it and forcing myself to do it. The extra money would be nice.

Mostly just short term spending.

I was a bouncer for 5 years, mostly through college and then a little after i graduated...yeah its great hourly but the shit you put up with...in all honesty not worth it and i dont think i would ever do it again.

I mean we had fun (especially with the shot girls and waitresses :headbang but it gets really annoying and not as much fun the longer you do it.

I'm in my last semester at shoo, so apart from my intern online coaching and pt work has been great

Moving forward would like to expand that, don't really see it becoming my primary mode of income unless by chance I get lucky
