Never thought I would still be asking this; but it's going on for eight months now, when at a meet I dumped the bar on my 2nd attempt while wearing an Overkill shirt. While lowering the bar to my chest the right arm went down backwards, I lost it and miraculously was caught by the spotters. Since then any flat benching just kills my shoulder in the delt area, but ironically any inclines, declines, shoulder military etc, tricep exercises, pretty much anything else do NOT give me any pain--just the flat bench. It's got so if I enter a meet I just do a token bench attempt to stay in the meet. I would love to know just what I injured and what I can do/take to be able to bench normal again, or if I'm screwed and have to just live with it.
