For those of you who've measured free test using different assays.
What variability do you see in something like a standard direct Free test lab vs Equilibrium Dialysis?
I've never tested free testosterone until recently (no bully) ; was fortunate enough to pull a dialysis assay (it's supposedly a more accurate predictor, tedious too) and readings came back pretty high.
400 mgs of test:
Free Test: 973 pg/ml (ref range: 35-155)
Total T: 3008 ng/dl
I know Stewie in the past has mentioned variability between different forms when discussions came up on it and why there's variability in guys (there is difference in what testing method is used). I'm wondering if there's consensus on how much that is, and if that is a bigger reason than genetics (cuz I ain't no genetic freak, that's for sure
