Best contest tanning

It's been a few years since I have competed and inwas wondering if there are any new great pre contest tanning products out.???

In the past I always used some MT2 and tanned a few times a week starting a few weeks out then the Wednesday before the show I put on a coat of protan wore it all day , bathed that night then another coat on Thursday all day , bath that night then another coat Friday morning. This generally gave a good base tan in case who ever was spray for the show did a shitty job I could always just add another coat of protan.
But as you can imagine this is a messy process and quiet time consuming , so I was wondering if anyone had anything new they preferred that was faster or less messy.
I've had two cases where I relied on getting sprayed at the show and it turned out pretty crappy , not sure if it was due to bad product or application but I don't wanna have to rely on them again

Man, I don't compete but I can't imagine being any darker than I am on MT2.

Is the added coloring in order to get the right hue/tint?

My girl and I would both tan naturally as much as possible, then start "Pro Tan" on Thursday for the Saturday show. Couple of coats on Friday rinse lightly on Saturday. We'd still shower during the process could not stand being a total mess three days. Always have a good base. I used to love painting my girl. She'd ask "Why do have to paint my taint?" LOL I'd always told her just in case your suit slips LOL

you can put tan on the morning of your show and be just fine. 3 days to tan, hell no!!!!!!!! Protan LSR all good, all same color

I have always used and been successful with ProTan. Couple weeks prior I would use tanning bed along with Mt2. 2days out, 1 coat. 1 day out 2 coats..then if need be, touch ups morning of show.

Since you have previously used MT2, you are probably aware that nothing even comes close. I've never seen anything like it before. It's unbelievable....couldn't even imagine getting any darker.

I used protans new super dark formula for my last 2 shows and it was the best tan I have ever had. My wife put 2 good coats on Friday and alittle touch up Saturday the show day. It went on super fast she used some applicator glove looking thing she picked up at a beauty store. I’m competing in The North Americans at the end of August and I will 100% use the protan super dark formula again!

I just leave it up to the official tan vendor. I've never had a bad experience with LSR or pro tan. Tanning before didn't seem to make much difference to me.
