You will never see a truly massive bodybuilder who can't lift heavy ass weight. Period. Sure, you can look like Frank Zane by focusing on form, intensity, etc. But if you want to get big, you will have to get strong. You will never have truly huge, world class level pecs, if you can't load up 405 plates and rep it out. Etc. This is why I think it might make sense for some guys to take a break from a pure bodybuilding routine and spend some time doing a more powerbuilding/powerlifting type of routine. Build the strength first, and then once you can move the heavy weight, focus on increasing reps with good form. ,
