Acne scarring treated with dermabrasion?

This is a technique which removes the upper layer of the skin so the body can make a new, clear skin.
Mostly it is used for the face for acne and imperfection but I wonder if its good for acne scarring as well . my Bf suffers from it even before steroids and you can imagine its getting worse and worse.
Anyone has experience with this device? And how many treatments did you have to see results?

microdermabrasion is just rougher exfoliation really.

What kind of acne scars are they? There are different kind that respond differently.

Because I've had lasers and dermabrasion, the scars should be worked on before resurfacing like them is had. Subsicion, punch exsicion, ect.
Dermal rollers are also helpful

I have good luck with chemical peels. I use 50% tca at home. Same results as doctors office i used to get from and dirt cheap. Not only helps with scars but acne as well.

Id be careful. This treatment may cause Post inflammatory hyperpigmentation
