Its been quite a while that I have "said" I was going to do a log and I just haven't done it. Short summary of my "story". I trained and competed back in the 90's - I think the last show I did was in mid 2000. Not long after that I went through a divorce - lost a couple of businesses - and let myself fall to crap. I really let my body go to hell. I am pretty sure that for at least 6-7 years I didn't even go to a gym at all. When I originally signed up on PM - I wasn't training at all. Then I went through a period of 4-5 years where I would go for a month and stop - just was so focused on business that I would use that as an excuse to skip the gym. Finally in 2016 I used the transformation contest to try to get in shape - but I am ashamed to admit that about 8 weeks in I really didn't think there was a chance I could do well and I let my diet go to hell. Didn't train very hard after that. In early 2017 I got REALLY sick. I was in ICU for 8 days - hard line sewn into my carotid - intubated - scary shit. Was unconscious for 2 days. The docs had no clue why I was in (eventually they told me it was a bacterial infection - but the infectious disease specialist told me he couldn't confirm that). I was out of my mind when I went in - they were unsure if I had OD'd then found nothing in system - weren't sure if I had ben poisoned - found no traces of anything.
The good thing that came from it was that I literally had every blood test possible - x-ray of chest - echo - EKG - etc. Before I was released the docs told me that at that point I was extremely healthy.
So here I am.. I am not in terrible shape, but not where I want to be. I'm mid 40's - 5'8" - 225lb. I can see all abs - and legs are very lean - but I would need to lose ALOT to be able to compete again.
I am using TGC products and TP mauve tops
T400 600mg / week
Mast Prop 150mg /week
EQ - 300mg / week
TP mauve tops 3.33iu day
I train legs - upper body - each twice a week. I shoot for 4 training sessions but sometimes need a 5th if I cant hit chest or back or arms one day. Calves have come up a ton.
I work a lot - so I may have days I don't update - but I am going to post some pics regardless of how shameful they are. I need to be held accountable.
