Explain your preference and skill. Id love to try a few ways since I am borderline handicapped in the kitchen!

I refuse to eat bs fish like tilapia or other farm raised junk.

try cookin salmon on a cedar plank on the grill.
a little kosher salt
a little pepper
and a little brown sugar sprinkled on top.
soak the cedar plank in water for a couple hours or your fish will burn up.

Fresh wild salmon:

salt & pepper
1 clove garlic (minced)
1 tbsp olive or coconut oil
capers (4-6)
juice of 1 lemon

wrap in foil and bake @ 425F for 20 mins.

when i cook salmon i usually smoke it using mesquite wood or grill it using mesquite.

I do the foil wrap method like Mdub

love the classic taste of dill and lemon with salmon
brush the fish with oil of your choice
salt and pepper it
place a lemon slice and some fresh dill on the fish
wrap it up in foil
throw on grill

i like my fish pretty much raw on the inside so dont cook it very long

I hate lemon. Should I cook it with it anyways and then just discard it?

Im so pissed I spelled salmon wrong...(typing on a phone)

I like Mdub's method as well..in the summer I do the same thing but poke a couple holes in the tin foil and throw it outside on the grill..gives it a different flavor

Salmon either on the grill or in the pan.

Olive oil
capers
lemon juice
pepper
garlic salt

cooked on medium low until done. It's amazing, even later cold on crackers

(If you dont like lemon, just use a little bit anyway for some citrus taste)

For my cod, I just bake with Mrs. Dash Fiesta Lime. I love it :)

Cooked how? Baked? Sauteed?
Please elaborate.

Anyone else have Cod recipes/instructions.

There are numerous ways bro to cook your fish. Pan-fried using a non stick fry pan with olive oil or unsalted butter. First get your fry pan hot before you put any oil in. The reason why it has to be hot before you put oil in so the fish wont stick. pan-fried for 3-4 mins to get the color and then turn it over nice light brown color and once both sides are done then you put your fish on a parchment paper or foil and season it anyway you like and throw it in the oven. Fish normally takes about 10-12 mins depends on the size of the fillet. Small fillet fish same way pan-fried etc and in the oven for 6 mins.

You can either poached your fish by putting hot water in the pot and let it simmer and cook until the fish is cooked.

You can marinate your fish overnight and the next day you can bake it in the oven.

Hope that helps!

For Salmon the last couple times, I've broiled it. First I make a mustard and maple syrup mixture and pour it over the salmon.

I do about a 1/4 cup syrup and a couple table spoons brown mustard.

Broil it for 10-12min........maybe a little longer depending on how big your piece is.

Cod......lately I've been using those new Land 'O Lakes Saute Express things. Garlic and Herb......the purple one.

Pan cook with those.

I boat fish and get a lot of Mahi where I live. This is a fish that dries out when not cooked right.

Mahi fillets
Salt pepper
Herbs
1 cup of fresh pineapple
Baking dish covered in foil
Bake high for 25 mins

Money!

Fish in general I bake in fresh coconut milk and seasoning

I love swordfish either broiled or blackened. Cod I cant stand the taste. Salmon, I prefer to eat it raw..

Pre heat the grill at 450.
Mix minced garlic, sea salt and olive oil in a small mixing bowl.
Generously rub in over the salmon, generously!! Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Smear the grill with more olive oil. Sear on each side for approx. 2-3 minutes depending on how thickness.

You can add some black pepper or red pepper to spice it up a bit!..

There are so many ways to cook fish it's hard to list them all out, but here is my favorite way to cook salmon. The skin comes out nice and crispy and let's face it, crispy salmon skin is like the bacon of the sea!! (OK, I stole the from Mark Sisson)

Im lazy so I keep it simple....pan fried in whatever you want it in (butter, oil etc) and I like blackened seasoning on my fish.....gives it good spice

For salmon, I like to get an iron skillet hot (or any skillet you can transfer to the oven) and spray the fish with olive oil cooking spray. Sprinkle the fish with salt, black pepper, garlic powder and onion powder. Put it in the skillet meat side down. Let it sear for 3-5 minutes then flip it and transfer it to a 350 degree oven to finish. Usually another 5ish minutes depending on the thickness.

For Salmon, I like to use smoked paprika, Cajun, some coconut oil, salt and pepper. Can either oven baked, grilled or pan fried. Alternatively I use Greek seasoning. Nice flavor.
