Which athlete do you think could have made a really good bodybuilder/powerlifter?

I was watching an old documentary on Brock Lesnar. Dude came from a different planet. He was close to 300 lbs at 6'3; one can easily guarantee NOT eating like a bodybuilder or training like one probably just doing compound lifts, but looking like this. He would have made an insane powerlifter with the kind of strength he had.

Herschel Walker.

Herschel Walker.

First person who came to my mind also when I read the title of thread. Damn black guys!:p:D

I got a hot dog at costco the other day, the guy that rang me up was black, with good forearms. I said, "you got some good forearms brother", he laughed and said it depends what kind of shirt he wears, pulled up his sleeve to show his upper arms. Of course they were good. I said, "you black guys always have good arms!" Then I said, "Asians get calves, black guys get arms." He laughed and agreed.

This should be an awesome thread. I've got quite a few in mind. I'll search for some pictures.

a huge majority of the NFL players excluding a few positions/people like punter, kicker, quarterback. Same with basketball players to, a lot of them could easily bulk up and build muscle/strength FAST.

Adding Bo Jackson to the list

There was an NFL bust named Vernon Gholston who played for Ohio State a while back who was insanely jacked. Also, Michael Pittman, a former NFL running back (played mostly for the Buccs) and Thomas Jones, who was pretty good with the Bears and Jets. Those guys were just diesel.

I also think Reggie Bush could have gotten really big if he tried.

I'm going to disagree on the basketball players. They are too tall to really make it far in bodybuilding.

Was thinking bo jackson also. Man, that guy was a great athlete.

yasiel puig...

real similar physique to bo jackson...

Karl Malone....saw the guy in person at the airport once and was blown away at how big he looked.

michael pittman, ex nfl rb. probably could have been a better bodybuilder than nfl player

id also say a couple of other exl cardinal players adrian wilson, and david boston. i mention cardinal playes because ive seen them up close without pads and all three were jacked.

more obvious would be ap.

Dont forgert about some of those Somoans nfl'ers

Terry Crew. Is the number one that sticks out in my mind

Yep. Him and also Dwayne Johnson could of done well in bodybuilding with their genetics and commitment to the gym. But they knew the money is in Hollywood movies, not on the bodybuilding stage.

I work with a few Tongan and Samoan guys who played in the league and big colleges. Dudes are total freaks. Strength and size comes on so fast.
