Lump in muscle

So I noticed my hamstring felt kind of tight So I went to foam roll it. I noticed I had a small lump under the skin that felt like part of the muscle, hard slightly painful if pressed.
It looked funny, kind of like a ping pong ball under my skin. I left it alone and didn't think much of it. Today I looked at the area again and there's giant bruise.
I don't remember injurying it and haven't trained legs since I noticed the lump.

Just curious if any of you had an idea what it could be. Could I have torn it bad enough to leave a lump without noticing?

Have you injected there recently? Abscess?

I had a small lump on the outside of my calf. It kept growing to the size of a small grape. It was painful, I finally went to the dermatologist. It ended up being squamous cell carcinoma.

You better get to the dermatologist.

Get it checked out but could be a calcium deposite.
