Peek Week gone totaly wrong!!

Until today, I can not understand what went wrong to much diuretic or not enough carb to carb up, 3 days out i looked peeled and dry then something happen. I did not go crazy on carbs because was scared to spill over.

Picture 1: 0g carbohydrates
Picture 2: Carbloaded
Picture 3: Morning off competition day Flat and soft
Picture 4:drinking water 1.5-2 gallon and loading with carbs and sodium about 5 days around 3500g carbs total

Can not make the same mistakes again, Wanna know what went wrong for my next show 25 February.

10 days out
Aldactone 12.5mg ed with breakfast
High sodium
Water 2 galloons

3 days out Loading phase

Aldactone 12.5mg ed
Water 1.5 galloon
Sodium> 5-6000mg
Carbs 150g

2 days out:
aldactone 12.5mg po morning
Water 1 galloon
Sodium> 5-6000mg
Carbohydrates 200g

1 days out:

Aldactone 12.5mg
moduretic potassium saving half tablet 1 hour when cut water and eat burgers
2 burgers with french fries
Water 1 gallon up until the burgers
sodium 5-6000mg
Carbohydrates: 300g

Competition day:
Water sips
Steak with eggs for breakfast
Pizza before stage 1 hour (only reason was because so flat and soft did not know what to do that time i could not fuck it up more)
Rice cakes with strawberry jam 60min before stage

Thank you guys hope you can help me with what went totally wrong. How can i look so good 3 days out depleted and so flat and small when compete. I felt miserable and did not even want to gorge or binge just totally sad and hated everything that happen the last 3 days i felt everyday i getting smaller and flatter. but the worst was when i woke up morning of the show i was so close to cancel it.

Didnt you hire Alex Kikel? Did he PM you saying "Im a prep coach, gimme 100$ and i can bring you in"? Shouldve been pounding 3 gallons minimum 3-4 days out. 300g carbs? They went no where with no water.

You washed your lines with no water and diruectics.

I was drinking water with my carbs you mean not enough 1 gallon? yeah sadly only 300-400g the mark landed on. so the diuretics was the biggest misstake?
 
Ride the wave.

Don't paddle against it.

Don't make drastic changes to your regimen if you already look great. This is a point hammered in by a LOT of very smart guys like John Meadows, Shelby Starnes, and Chris Aceto.

Look up Dr. Scott Stevenson's article on peak week (I think it's on John's mountaindogdiet site). He doesn't even use pharmaceutical diuretics, and seems to bring his guys dialed in and dry without them. John's the same way.
 
Diuretics 10 days out?

I have no idea how to use diuretics, but seem you dont to know how to use. Maybe leave diuretics out of the game? Most gurus use it the night before and / or the day of the show.

think about why you would want steak in your belly during prejuding?
why would you want pizza in your belly durin prejudging
personally never understood the rice cakes thing. i guess theyre easy? i dont know
id imagine you didnt eat this kind of food or a while

you looked good in pic 1, not sure why very much needed to change at all

Once we removed the "peak week" I started WINNING.... be ready early. don't do anything crazy and just cruise into your show..... doing radical shit is asking for problems

I totally agree. Don't change up what you've been doing the whole time. You should be carbing up on whatever you've already been eating be it oats or rice or whatever. Throwing something new in can wreak havoc on your gut and can be very unpredictable if its something you haven't been used to eating

it was a nightmare now i don't believe in peek weeks even if like many say be ready early well i was ready before peek week but needed to fill up.

I've seen quite a few guys take a diuretic when it wasn't even necessary.... taking is "just because"..... don't get me wrong, I'm not saying its your fault but if you were skeptical that should have told you something... did you ever take Aldactone before???

never tried it before. its crazy how i look so dry on it with high water it wasent until i start lower the water that aldactone fucked me up. maybe water should kept in all the way to show.

can you use aldactone correct?

couple days out i was very good on point then when i started to lower the water intake i started to flat out and lost alot of size

I try get leaner for next show and this time not use any diuretic but i was on 1000mg sustanon i dropped it 7 days out thats why he wanted me to use diuretic.

whats your idea thoughts to do diffrent next time start lower up the carbs 7 days out and front load instead of back load?

My point is... you've NEVER taken it before but yet you'll take it for the 1st time right BEFORE a show??? :rolleyes: you don't want ANY surprises that close my friend...just my .02

true well you live and learn. even need alot more carbs to fill up after being so depleted even after 3500g carbs i did not spill over 5 days post show. and i was trying to fill up on 300-400g haha :banghead:

your answer is in what you have already typed here, you dont need more carbs
 
Aldactone will make it almost impossible to get in enough sodium to fill out. You basically need to shitload. It makes it so unpredictable.

Also, don't compare pictures in dramatically different lighting.
