UBER/LYFT

I'm looking to earn a little side cash to cover my recently increased mortgage payment and I was thinking about doing the Uber or Lyft thing. Does anybody have any experience with driving for these companies? Or maybe do you know someone who does? Would it be reasonable to assume that I might be able to make $500 per month if I work 3 hours a day 2 to 3 days a week? If it helps I live in suburban NJ right across the river from manhattan.

Thanks brother. I'd be active likely between 3:00-6:00 as i am limited by my work schedule.

Kind of off topic but a few heavy narcotic using patients at my work who can't get jobs because of their heavy narcotic use do Uber. Its scary not knowing your driver is higher than a kite and you have this blind trust.

Good luck being the driver. I have a friend who does this as he is in between jobs.

I've been doing it for a month now and i've made just a little over a $1000.00
The hard part is to make the most of your time is to do it nights and weekends.
I usually put in about 15 hours a week
I would get 2 cell phone. One for the customer to get a hold of you and the other one to see where all the other Uber driver are. That way you can be in a area that is less covered by other driver and make more money.

No your not confusing me with anybody else. I did have surgery 6 months ago and I'm being cleared by my epileptologist to to drive on monday. I've been seizure free for 1year and 1/2 now. And I will definitely be safe, thanks for the concern. This is just one avenue I'm exploring.
