Potassium and clen

Curious if any of y’all take in extra potassium when running clen. I never really thought about it until my gf asked me a question that made my mind wonder? She asked me if it’s normal that clen might slow down muscle recovery/light cramps. She takes in a gallon of water a day not including workout time. Any thoughts guys?
 
I eat a banana every now and then, potassium supps always fucked with me too much.
 
Increase sodium. Maybe add in a little potassium. The best thing to take would be a multi mineral supp. Calcium, mag, zinc, potassium, copper, etc...

Drinking so much where your pissing all day can lead to releasing a lot sodium in urine. So if your dieting pretty hard with low carbs then up sodium and minerals

Alright. I appreciate the info bro! Her and I both take a good amount of support supps: calcium, glutamine, glucosamine, taurine, and a few others that I’m drawing a blank on. What way would you use to up the sodium?

I find none of that taruine shit works for this.

OP my advice would be just take a basic unflavoured electrolyte product which has 4-5 electrolytes this covers all basis and have a boat load of other benefits too on top. its cheap as chips.

Add taurine
Oops, i just read you already take taurine. I would take 2 grams 3 times a day.

I find none of that taruine shit works for this.

OP my advice would be just take a basic unflavoured electrolyte product which has 4-5 electrolytes this covers all basis and have a boat load of other benefits too on top. its cheap as chips.

Ehh I use taurine more for tbi repair/neurological benefits. Muscle wise,, ehh I dnno?

ya those kind of purposes are fine if you wish to take it. You can continue taking it. no harm. its a good research based supplement

You’re right tho about taurine not really working. Instead of using taurine for recovery, I use turmeric 3x a day for aches and inflammation. Took about 10days for it to build up in my system. Now that it has, man I can really feel a difference. Especially if I forget to take my doses. I’ll be hurtin until I get back on my schedule.

you need to take a LOT!
i think i was taking more then 20g ed when i tried this.
glycerol also helps.

havent played with this in many years but waaaaaay back i did and mega dosing did help a lot with the shakes and tightness.

i want to say at times i went to like 50g ed. tried up to 25 g before bed to help with sleep. lol:eek:

3-5g potassium citrate pre work out acts as a blood buffer and can help reduce burn from lactic acid for endurance work and help to lower massive pumps associated with some aas.

it is also used as a blood pressure medicine.

i only use pc and only pre work out.:lightbulb:
not always but when aplicable
