Anyone low-dose blast and cruise?

I'm pushing 40 in the not-so-distant future, been bodybuilding since I was 14, was on gear from about 20-25 and have just been on TRT for the last 4 years.... not looking to compete or anything. I do miss having a slight edge though, not looking for crazy size or anything but I've been considering a 3 month Blast/3 Month cruise routine...... but at lower doses. My blast would be about 400mg Test (or possibly Test/Mast or a Test/Primo combo, MILD compounds and low doses) and my cruise would be just an easy 100mg TRT dose per week.

So I've been experimenting with my TRT the past 4 years, between 100mg and 200mg and there is literally NO change in ANY of my measurements. 100mg puts me at 794 ng/dl and 200mg puts me at 946 ng/dl (both at absolute lowest trough).

I know almost everyone here cruises on 200mg or so but I'm trying to find a middle-ground of being in optimal health at my age (that includes having a VERY high libido lol, that's the top priority honestly, but also keeping RBC, prostate etc. in check) but also, I AM a bodybuilder at heart and do miss the fun that comes with blasting, looking a bit more full etc. .... just trying to do it on a lower, healthier scale.

I'm curious if any of you guys around my age do something like this or if it would just be a waste.
 
I can get good results from 400mg of testosterone. I'm not quite your age, but at some point in the not so distant future I can imagine blasting with 400 test only.
 
Yes you can. For three months all I did was 500 Test E aw and Nolvadex. I felt great no sides and I continued to grow. If it’s been some time that you haven’t done higher dose I say 400 will work, sure.
 
Most people don’t even cruise when it’s time to cruise... 500 mg a test is exceptionally lower than what most take during a heavy cycle but 500mg is still way beyond natural levels. Even I am guilty my cruise is like 125mg to 250mg a week for a few months and it would be prudent donating blood and get blood work done during this time
 
Cruises are 125-150mg of test, current blast 750 test. I'm in my twenties, never blasted over a gram
 
I've just posted almost an identical post!

I cruise on 150mg now and do two blasts a year, about 6 weeks each and 2g dose.

I'd go slightly higher than your proposed 400mg, why not up it to 750mg for ten weeks then revert back to cruising again on 100mg.

I'm also wondering how guys get on with 125mg cruise as my 150mg feels hthe same as 175mg so thinking of dropping it lower.
 
I'm 50 now, so a "blast" for me anymore is really just upping my TRT dose slightly for a month or so. I cycle in Masteron and am usually always running 2u's of GH. That has been all I've really needed to maintain and makes small gains and look and feel pretty damn good. At 50, plus, not looking for much more. Just want to keep what I got and make it pop.

You're 40, so you got a good ten years on me. You can probably get away with a few more years of blasting at 400mg T and some mast, but in my opinion, watch labs etc carefully. Easy to get things off as we age. I'm a good responder even in low doses. I can build lean muscle at age 50, just running 125mg a week, low dose GH. You might not even need as much as you think.
 
Im 38 and im on dr prescribed trt of 200mg. My blasts now are "normally" 200mg each of test, mast, tren. Ive also done 250mg of each. Honestly when everything like diet, rest and training is done right i look the same at 600mg as when i ran twice that amount. By the time im 40 i will drop the tren and add something else. Also i dont use orals. Kinda wish i still could but they absolutely destroy my stomach in a matter of days.

I usually put on 10lbs but I'm sad to say I don't usually keep any of it. Probably going to stop due to the possible health consequences especially since I can't seem to maintain any of the size gained.

Have you been blasting long? What’s your height and weight?

I'm only 5'7" and have a small frame to boot. I usually manage to keep 185lbs on my frame at TRT dose levels with about 15% body fat. So nothing super impressive compared to most on here. When I blast I can get 195-200lbs but I usually settle in back at 185lbs with time. I only blast once per year and have done it three times now.

Does diet or training change any once you go back to your TRT levels? This could be part of your problem.
 
I've been cruising on 10mg Test P, 2iu GH and a small dose of Cialis/day for 5-6 months while recovering from shoulder surgery. I honestly feel great on this regimen. Libido is very high. I lost some weight/size (nothing major) but then I'm on a fraction of what I was formerly taking. What's strange is my strength is almost back to my pre injury #'s with exception of bench due to shoulder concerns. This was not expected!!
I'm planning something similar in October but for a shorter time frame, only 2 months. Being 50 now, my goal is to do this 2x/year with a 4 month break (back to 10mg/day) in between each "low dose blast" to give the organs and HPTA a break.
I'm a dad with a family and a career. It's about longevity and using these chemicals wisely from here on out. It's very possible I abandon the entire plan and just stick with the 10mg/day as it's working for me. The threads here lately have been leaning me in that direction TBH.

My training levels stay consistent. I train 5x a week for an hour whether blasting or cruising. My diet varies depending on current goals but less so now than it used to. I think it just makes sense that when you have more testosterone in your body you reach a more muscular homeostasis.

I'm honestly ok with my weight albeit I would like to be this same weight with lower body fat but I've accepted my body type. I'm super impressed by some of the guys my size on this forum (height wise) that weight 200+ lbs and are super lean at the same time.

You don't have to accept you body type, anyone can change theirs to a large degree. Get serious about dieting and you'll lose the body fat.
