I researched a bit I couldn't find a whole lot on this topic, im trying to find out which exercises to avoid for si joint pain , obviously regular squats and anything with a heavy load on your back, ive been doing some front squats and hyperextensions im not sure if hypers should be avoided or not, obviously im still trying to build the erectors if possible yet be pain free and train smart

Everyone is built different and has different imbalances, so what works for one person might be the worst thing for another. Maybe see a physio or get a movement screen by a trainer with a corrective exercise background. Some pilates or yoga teachers also have corrective exercise education and can troubleshoot. It can be random stuff like lack of thoracic mobility or tight hip flexors or something else that is causing it.

For me squatting with a heel really jacks up my SI joint and knees, but for someone else it may help... So go figure, lol.

So focus on the following first while you avoid loading the hips

Core strength
Hip mobility
Overall flexibility.

See a chiro for manipulation

Then start slowly with pain free exercises
