Wow, is that basically what the entry fee is? Sounds like they get back what they paid to enter it.
 
Very interesting. Would it be better for a 45 year old just to try to compete at the open division and not worry about the masters hoopla. I just qualified for a national show a while back for masters physique and classic physique. Thought my chances at a pro card were much better at masters 45+. I think I can hang with the open guys what would be the difference from an open pro card or a masters pro card?
 
i am 40 now and bout to be 41 i want to work and use the circuit to get a pro card... classic, bbing, physique f it i just want that card.

The big difference is that you will not earn money.

As a master you have far fewer contests in the PRO league, but you can compete in the open if you wish.
 
Imagine doing a full contest prep for 12 weeks and finding out you have no one else competing against you

This is great information. If I earn my pro card as a masters I can still compete at all open pro shows? Is this correct?
