Dieting for a show I have found carb cycling to be very effective. Monday through Thursday zero carbs and according to test strips I go into ketosis Thursday morning.
To stay in a deficit I keep my calories at 1200 to 1500 per day 7 days per week. I burn 2000 to 2300 per day.
Fridays I allow myself 100 carbs Saturday 150 Sunday up to 200
My question is how long could a bodybuilder stay in ketosis before it becomes detrimental?
