Do any of you take your pets to the gym?

...and I just realized you said a dog shit in the gym, and you’re still considering the notion?
Well it is 2020. Who gives a fuck? If the owners allow abusive behavior and a weight room that’s like fucking Wild Kingdom in there, they deserve to lose patronage.

My gym has offered dog yoga classes in the past. True story.

I’m not trying to be a dick, but I think you need to do some serious soul searching, and possibly get some psychological help. First, breaking someone else’s stuff, because you don’t want to (or feel you should have to) wait your turn.
Now this dog thing? IMO, it’s selfish to say the least, narcissistic at worst. I’m no psychologist, but considering the regard you have for your pets, I wouldn’t guess you’re a narcissist.
Having a dog in the gym, even if it it’s a service animal, could become an inconvenience for other patrons. Service animal owners understand that, so their highly trained animals are generally very quiet and and low profile. Think about this, you’re working out and a dog is under foot and possibly aggressive! That’s crazy!
Plus, if the guy who just crushed another dude’s phone showed up with a dog in my gym the next week, I’d be more than a little bent out of shape. I’d let the management know it’s him or me who’s got to go.
Lastly, just like kids in a gym, it’s not safe. What if a wayward dumbbell or plate falls and lands on the dog. That would be catastrophic!
My suggestion, figure out ways to leave the dog at home with some elements of comfort, so he/she doesn’t destroy the place...and try to consider the gym a private establishment intended to allow members to escape the normally annoying shit in society.
I wouldn't worry about him. He's a figment of his own imagination.

Yes, but all he does is gaze out the window! He's pretty jacked himself, Platz legs, Samir Bannout back! ;)

What's wrong with rabbits
There you go. It's the second pet rabbit on PM this week. Does yours have a whole room of its own? I look for those things now. Rabbits at the gym anyone?

No has runs around free with the dogs (he things he's a dog) spends most of the day outside in the fenced yard but gets put in his hutch at night. He's potty trained like a cat.
I didn't actually want him because this breed is alot of maintenance with all the damn hair but a friend gave him to me as a gift after my surgery. His blood line is very good so we stud him out all the time. We have a couple goats too but they stay outside most of the time (Nigerian pygmys) but they are like the dogs as well , everybody hangs out together , gets weekly bath ect.

not sure it works like that here in the states lol. Im jealous you're able to bring your dog though lol.

Theres probably zero 24 hour gyms im the US that would allow a dog. And if you did bring a dog aftet hours i guarantee it wouldnt be five minutes before someone complained.

Ive never even heard of bringing a dog to a gym. I could understand if its a service dog, but why would you need one in the gym? Unless maybe you are blind.. We actually have a blind person in our gym, god bless him.

Sounds like a zoo lol, pussy palace. Girls love weird animals

Mine goes to the gym but waits in the truck and looks out the window. Its a compromise.

Good looking Dogo! Mine does the same thing, always standing up on things. Counters, window sills, sinks whatever he can reach.

I have a 105lb bully pit I rescued from the fighting ring a couple of years ago. He is my shadow!

I have my whole setup in my barn..but he is there with me at 3am everyday.

Bringing a nervous dog that might bite to the gym is an assanine idea! I’d bet that dog knows u get mad pretty easy and smash phones is why he is so nervous! Unless u are disabled or have a service dog I really don’t see a reason to take him to the gym! I would’ve been ok with it had it been a pet frog, rooster, snake, or zebra

I was just gonna say that. Great looking angora. Does he require lots of combing?
We brush him out about every other day of he'll start to get mats because his hair is so long and it's so damn fine , he gets a good trim about ever 4-5 weeks but it grows out really quick.
We take all the hair we brush out and stick it in the fence and the birds come collect it for nest material. You can spin it together with your hands and make a length of yarn pretty easy because it's so soft and fine.
The breeder works with my wife but has some beautiful different colors she breeds.
