So guys cronic pain, i have a lot of pain from different areas of my body, we are talkin diff kinds of pain, joint, bone, nerve etc after couple car crashes, work accident, wear and tear etc
i have tried different kinds of pain medication, atm im on oxycontin and its workin ok, however i hate that it fucks my stomach and lowers my appetite, i hate the fact that over time its effect goes down and you have to increase dosage, what do you guys do for pain ?

While I myself am not in pain as you are, may I ask how your workout schedule is? I find that reducing my days in gym from 6 days a week to 3 or 4 (Every other day workout..followed by complete rest day) I was able to reduce my shoulder pain and other pains significantly. I assume that you workout hard in gym since you are a dedicated member on here. But if I was in legitimate nerve and severe pain as you are..I would look into CBD hemp bud flower which is legal in all states. It doesn't intoxicate but so many people (including vets with PTSD and traumatic pain) vouch very strongly for it's pain relieving properties and doesn't mess with your head like THC does. Its worth seriously looking into brother.
The other option is to look into Kratom if thats legal in your state. Or even get both of them...and give it a try. If I were in your shoes..I would try and stay as far away from hardcore prescription pain medication as I possibly can. I am sure that a lot of brothers can chime in..but I wanted to help with what I could with..

I live in Denmark in Europa and we still have insane laws in regards to thc etc however CBD is legal if it has below a certain limit of THC 0,2%, do you have any links where i can read about CBD Hemp bud flower ?

When you take it on a consistent basis, your body can get used to it and the constipation goes away. At least that has been my experience.

I hear ya'! I've had six spine surgeries plus surgeries for other things. I have Ankylosing Spondylitis which is very painful. I've been in pain since I was 17 and chronic since I was 19. I was on Humira for the AS but it gave me regular colds and two bouts of upper respiratory infections. I stopped it once COVID hit and my doctor now has me on Otezla which doesn't affect the immune system. I take pain killers and NSAID's. I can't do it without NSAID's, the pain is just too much. I get regular blood work and monitor things...so far, so good. I've used CBD and it helps with inflammation. I had to use more than the recommended dosage. I use Super Bio Curcumin from Life Extention. I don't know how much it does for inflammation (for me) but I love it for the health benefits. It really enhances the immune system, so I have to be careful because it can cause my AS to flare up. I'm going to go back and try BPC 157 again one of these days. I used it years ago but can't remember how well it worked. It's time to use it again and see how it goes!

I stay away from exercises that cause extreme pain and just go on how I feel. It's limiting but making the pain worse isn't an option I'm interested in anymore. I don't know how old you are, I'm 51, so I'm not chasing extremes. Just being in shape is enough. I push it here and there because I'm human but I usually pay a price. Chronic pain sucks. Sooooo, the only thing you can really do outside of medication and supplements is focus on other things as best you can and avoid things that REALLY cause pain and lingering pain.

LOL! After I did that I was thinking that would be a good natural cure for constipation. It really opens you up!

Yes, being in pain and having serious health problems really makes one's life miserable at times and even those around you. I have snapped at family members a few times when I am in pain or feeling bad. You become not so nice of a person to be around. Since you have been having pain all of your adult life I am willing to bet you deal with it a lot better than most.

I don't know about any online vendors in Europe that offer it but I'm sure you could find a nice list in the EU that offers it for order within the EU.
I actually learned about cbd hemp bud here on pro M a while ago in the search but there's tons of reddit community reports about how CBD hemp bud flower (vaporized or smoked) was incredible for their pain relief, insomnia and relief of severe side effects experienced by chemotherapy and other medications. I don't know if I'm allowed to link directly to the reddit experience reports but do a google search on CBD hemp bud pain relief and you will find the reddit reports on there. Good luck brother.

I don't have a choice about being in pain but I had a choice in how I wanted to live my life. I could be angry and not be someone that people want to be around or I could be as happy as I could by being thankful for all the other things in my life...I chose the latter. The best compliment I get if I tell someone what I have and what I've gone through is, "I would never have guessed that about you. You look good and you're always smiling, laughing and joking." The biggest thing, and it comes somewhat naturally with chronic pain, is learning to focus away from the pain. Pain interrupts your thought process and you focus right back to what you were doing. It happens constantly all day. I have my moments where I get down but it doesn't last long.

Maldorf I know you understand because of what you went through and live with every day. I'm sure that reality weighs heavy on you at times. You're only human.

Yes, I can understand. My pain, from lower back mostly, is bad at times but probably nothing like your's. Its my heart problem that really affects my life. Im up late at night again because in the back of my mind I'm still somewhat fearful of going to sleep. I find myself trying to put it off.

I guess I still think about how I might go to sleep and not wake up, I've had my defibrillator fire off as I sleep in the past. Sometimes I feel helpless and out of control, totally at the whim of mother nature or higher powers. We have to take the bad days with the good. Overall life is good!

Pain can be so debilitating, It may sound a bit basic but I find that a good night sleep and no alcohol are the two best things to kee pain down. I use some anti inflammatory medication and the occasional painkiller but really do try to stay away from them. I don’t think we have the seriously strong painkillers you have in the US readily available here which is probably overall a good thing.

Thx for all the great answers guys, im 38 and have been in cronic pain since my first car accident at age 19 is was hit from behind by a car that didnt see that i was in a que so that was my first wiplash and my left shoulder got fucked because my seatbelt took the weight of my body and stopped it with my shoulder, since then there has been several other work, training accidents and one more wiplash and some other shit, so yeah im in alot of pain, the oxycontin doesnt give me constipation but im also very carefull of what i eat and use several supps to keep the gut and bowels moving, i cant use curcumin as it gives me nasty reflux even tho its really a nice supp and it gives me alot of relief :(
in the gym i usually train 3-4 days a week use the push, pull, legs, upper/lower split and avoid all type of movements that gives me pain.

I had a bad car accident where I hydroplaned my car on the interstate and struck the center wall. My car flipped upside down and slid down the highway about 20 yards or more. The seat belt messed up my left shoulder. I'm 51 now and that happened when I was 19. The pain is for life. Luckily I just separated my AC joint. Every once in awhile it will hurt bad again for a few days, so mine isn't real bad. I am very thankful that I had my belt on though, because without it I would have sailed through the windshield. I hit the wall full speed head on going about 60 mph.

I found Lyrica to be great for (nerve) pain. Unfortunately it also causes serious impotence and can make you feel drunk. (Which sounds nice enough when you have nothing else to do than lie on your couch but it isn't so great @ work)

When ever things got to the point of needing pain meds on a continuous basis. I opted for a surgery to help fix the problem.

BPC157 is the only thing that lets me live a life resembling normal. I've torn myself apart in two catastrophic crashes and didn't even think I could lift again at age 32. Very slow and careful rehab with AAS and BPC has allowed me to approach where I was in my late 20s/early 30s again finally 5 years later. I've yet to determine whether I peaked in my late 20s, I'd like to think I haven't but for now I'm slowly gaining ground on my former peak and using BPC daily to beat down inflammation.

It's effects on angiogenesis is also very interesting.
