I give many of my patients Prazosin (VA nurse). I do have trazadone at home, I just quit taking it for the last month or so.

I started extensively researching adaptagens as another option to help with anxiety because of this fact. Another issue with beta-blockers is that they can cause sleep disturbances.
I am prescribed 60mg time released propranolol which is effective at lower blood pressure and lessening panick attacks. However beta-blockers while relatively safe do come with side effects as you stated.

I had bad issues when I was taking Gabapentin for nerve pain. I had terrible ejaculation disfunction. I would get and stay hard naturally but I just wouldn't, well you know. It would take hours at times.
IMO gabapentin is a medication to be cautious with as physicians love to prescribe it.
