Long story short:
Several years back, having great workouts, great pumps. Bench was fine. Started using a slingshot on heavier reps. Over time got back up to 350-375. Goal was to get 405 for 2 reps. I'm 53 so last time i was able to do that was in my twenties. So got 405 for two. Next day shoulder irritated. Slowed down and the fourth day could barely do the bar. Thought I tore something. Over time I worked around it but my orthopedic did x-rays (not MRI) and said "well good news and bad news" Bad news is you have a small spur and a little arthritis. Also you will have to dramatically lower your weights. It never got better. It still hurts, cant bench and even dumbbells' hurt BUT some press machines are ok, cable crossovers is fine.
So question is: Do you think I could have torn something?
Second question: Would deca help (Always here it helps with bad joints but never used it) or BPC?
