It was a joke. Sorry I forgot to put the laughing emoji at the end. Yeah crazy expensive. Definitely not worth it. My apologies.
I understand completely that you meant it as a joke. I was just trying to point out a cheaper alternative.
My personal experience to the OP is as follows: Like everything else in life, it depends. Your chance of getting normal erections back "naturally" depends on the duration and intensity of prior steroid use, and the amount of time, energy, and money that you are willing to devote to recovery.
I'm 53 now, and I've been using, and often abusing, testosterone and other steroids for the last 29 years of my life, except for the three years that I spent in Federal Prison for selling anabolic steroids and money laundering.
During those three years off testosterone and other steroids, I never had one good erection. Not ever. Not even once in three years.
When I got out of prison, and got back on TRT levels of testosterone, I immediately had erections again. And I have been on testosterone ever since, adding in other compounds from time to time.
It all depends on your personal situation and level of prior use. If you've been on gear for a long time, you may have to accept the reality, as many of us have, that your HPTA has been irreversibly damaged, you are now hypogonadal, and you will need to be on TRT for the rest of your life. Which is not such a bad thing at all, as many of us are in the same boat, and TRT is a lot more accepted today than it was in the past.
I understand your desire to let your system recover naturally, and I hope that it works out for you, and that your testosterone levels and erections return to normal.
But for me, three years of trying to recover naturally, and having no erections, was enough. I'll be on at least TRT for the rest of my life, and I can't imagine ever voluntarily going off testosterone again.
As always, your mileage may vary, and I wish you the best of luck in your recovery.
