My ongoing shoulder issue as detailed here :
After 8 weeks physical therapy :
Weeks 1 -2 twice weekly
Weeks 3-5 three times weekly
Weeks 6-8 once a week. I cut back because honestly the pain was greater from doing it 3x weekly than it was prior to starting. I think I was overdoing it. It was a constant ache.
Today he suggested I look into a Coolief procedure. https://www.mycoolief.com/#
I did a search on here and can't find anything. I was hoping maybe someone knew something. It is apparently expensive. $3K to $4K. I will see if my insurance covers it. I made an appointment for August 5th. For a "trial" type procedure. Basically (from my understanding with the receptionist on the phone who made the appointment), I will come in and do some light tests and mobility motions to determine the range. Then a small test area for it.
While it appears (on paper) that I may have some pain relief, I am pretty sure it isn't going to do anything for my range of motion due to the fact it is caused by severe arthritis.
Thank you to everyone who replies.
