Alrighty. Time to start a log and keep myself accountable during this cycle.
Current stats
6’1”
214 pounds
Training for 19 years

So here’s my situation. Prior to covid I was walking around at 245. The. The lockdown hit, my gym went out of business, and I didn’t train for about a year and a half. I lost a lot of size. Got back into it in January and by March I was back to 223. Then I tore my right bicep apprehending a bail jumper. I ended up with a bicep that looked like this and he went to the hospital on a gurney. I stopped training out of depression and got down to 203.
I’ve finally made it back to 100 percent and have been hitting it hard on moderate doses and am sitting at my current 214. Almost as strong as I was previously on a lot of lifts at a much lower bodyweight. Now it’s time to blast and get back up to big boy status.
Cycle will be
750 mgs Sb test weekly
600 mgs deca
600 mgs eq
Nolvadex
And I’ll be using some of their sick ass looking high octane viagra/cialis combo for pumps in the gym and fun in the bedroom.
Cycle will be 14 weeks long but could be extended if things are going smoothly.
Order has been placed and goods should be in in a few days. I’m excited to get started

Alright. Yesterday’s workout was legs. Was in a bit of a hurry as I’ve been putting in OT at work. My wife trains with me, but she has to leave by 7:20 to take our kids to school. Sped this workout up with some intensity techniques and it went pretty well. Here’s how it went
Seated leg curls :1 heavy set of 10 and 1 rest pause set for 10-5-4
Leg extensions: 1 heavy set of 10 and 1 rest pause set for 11-5-3
Life extension squat machine:3 sets of 8
Leg press:3 sets of 8 and a widowmaker for 21 reps
Band assisted Nordic curl(photo attached because I’m not sure how to upload a video???) for 4 sets of ten. These are hands down my favorite hamstring exercise.
Pretty good workout and my hams are quite sore today.
Side note: any one know how to upload videos from your phone instead of just photos?

Diet yesterday was as follows(and it’s pretty similar most days)
1 McDouble on the way to pick up my kids from school
Shake when I got home with 120 grams of white rice flour cooked with 120 grams of orange juice for 1 minute ten seconds. Add to blender with 1 cup liquid egg whites, 1 scoop protein, 1 tbl avocado oil. Blend til smooth. From here on out this will be known as “the shake” as I have a few of these every day
Dinner was 6 ounces shredded beef over 2 broken up taco shells with cheese and salsa along with 250 grams jasmine rice(I call this dinner because for my family it is, but due to my job I’ve only been up for 3 hours at this point.
At work I had 6 ounces rotisserie chicken e and 250 grams jasmine rice and a 32 ounce Gatorade
Next up was the shake
Got home and was hungry. Made myself a plate of nachos(just cheese and chips) and had two eggs waffles with syrup followed up by the shake. And then it was off to sleep
 
Forgot to mention I had a 25 grams protein shake after “dinner”
Macros for yesterday was
Protein: 280
Carbs:552
Fat:i only count fat that I add like oils and butter. I have a fast metabolism and am able to manipulate my fat levels fine by only really counting this. In a diet phase I really only eat fat from my meat as oils tend to bother me when dropping bodyfat. : 62
 
Today’s workout was chest/shoulders and here’s how it went

Hammer strength incline press:worked up in sets of 8 and weight till I got to a really hard 8. This took about 7 sets total but the first 3-4 we’re just good warmups. The last set was with 2 plates, a 25, a ten and a 5 per side.
Reverse banded slight incline smith press(pic attached) worked up in sets of 6 but took larger jumps. 4 total sets with a top set with 3x45, 1x5 per side.
Dumbell press:1 hard set of 10 with 70s, 1 drop set with 70s for 11, 50s for 6, 35s for 5
Pec deck flyes:1 set of 12 but I can’t remember the weight
Rear delt pec deck flyes:3x15 with 115 pounds and minimal rest between sets
Dumbell y raises:3x12 with 15 pounders. These damn things are hard. Here’s a video
3 sets of 13 per arm

Well I had a very pleasant surprise in the mail when I got home from the gym. We can’t discuss TA times, but if you look when I started the log I think you can guess how fast it was. Did 1ml each of the test, deca, and eq and am ready to grow!

I think you’re going to mutate on SB gear bro! Looking forward to following this.
 
I’ve pinned 1ml of their test e prior to this from the free bottle they sent me in a giveaway. It was smooth, but too early to tell any possible effects or results. I have heard good things so I’m happy, and I should be able to make quick progress as I walked around at 245 for like 4 years without too much effort prior to covid and quitting the gym. I also used bare minimal test for about 1.5 years. Not even trt. I was doing 1 ml a week…..but very often forgot or just didn’t care to inject myself since I wasn’t training anyways. I have a good deal of ocd and am very all proud nothing so if I can’t train….I kind of just say fuck it on everything. I ate horribly during that time. Maybe a frozen burrito and frozen pot pie at work, and whatever we had for dinner, and a couple 44 ounce sodas and maybe some candy. Some days I wasn’t even getting 1000 calories. And thanks for following. We kind of got off on the wrong foot when I first started posting again, but I’ve come to understand you and where you’re coming from, and I do agree with you quite often

I think we both come from the same motivation to be here, to learn and to help other guys and to discuss sources and weed through the ones not worth the time and find/use the ones that have solid gear. Its easy to look passed misunderstandings then once you realize you share a lot in common with somebody. In general I think thats what makes this board great. We have common goal to get the best gear and help each other stay safeish while we all achieve our goals. THC'ed out right now so I'll stop rambling in your log lol

I completely agree. I end up getting a lot of viewpoints and opinions that I may not have thought of. And I’m the kind of person who’s willing to learn something from anyone, even if they’re less experienced. Everyone can teach you something, even if it’s what not to do lol

I also deadlift even though he seldomly used DLs in any of the mountain dog programs. I really really love it coming from a low volume high intensity approach. I feel way less beat up, getting more tension on muscles and less on joints, and making more consistent progress.
 
Subbed in 💪👍. Great log, That Bicep tendon...omg (looked proximal). Both distal or proximal tears are hard to fix(especially if the patient doesn’t get surgery quick). Nice to see you using all sorts of implements in your program. Wishing you Good luck and Great Gains !

I also deadlift even though he seldomly used DLs in any of the mountain dog programs. I really really love it coming from a low volume high intensity approach. I feel way less beat up, getting more tension on muscles and less on joints, and making more consistent progress.
I totally agree. I don’t deadlift from the floor anymore due to a lower back injury, but I do include rack deadlifts which I’ll be doing in today’s workout

Yes it was a proximal tear. Ended up not having surgery and just PT and it’s back with no issues and other than a slight divot in the muscle that only I can really notice you’d never know it

That is awesome! You picked the right surgeon for sure. I have seen some poor, botched surgeries. The Docs that specialize in it are complete badasses at their particular area. It is an art for sure, you lucked out. Most seem to be distal so, some ortho docs have only done a few.

Well kick ass. Wish the doc would give the 24iu gh injections at surgery site (they do it in pro sports) they probably have Refrigerators full of Pens and Pods! Lol

Today’s workout was back. Here’s how it went
Dumbell rows:8x80,8x80, 8x85
Rack high pulls:3 sets of 5 with 285
Cable low rows:2 sets of 10 with 85 pounds per stack, and 1 triple drop set starting at 85 per side
Mountaindog stretchers:2x10 with 115
Hammer strength MTS high row:(I absolutely love this machine. I’ve never seen it at any other gym I’ve been to and it hits the upper back so well.) 3 sets of 10 with 80 per stack
