Pretty good listen and something 90 percent of bodybuilders should be thinking about
all about itI don't want to be disrespectful but people in those years are really DUMB.
"Hey bbboooy take Telmisartan because does 43423 things, and since i am the guru of the moment, do it even more"
Jeeez, it's really easier than you think.
Is your BP too high?
if YES) add an ARB/ACE inhibitor
if NO) do nothing
I started taking Telmisartan 4y ago when almost anyone was talking about that? Why? Because i am smart? No, i am a retarded asshole, because if i was smart i would be 250lbs now! My bp was highish and needed something to lower it, simple high bp = bad, started with Telmisartan because i noticed it had also other effects.
It's same thing now with Metformin, Januvia, Saxenda whatever.... they fix/lower blood glucose with different actions, you take it because of that, you don't need a guru.
OFFTOPIC
Last thing about John J., did you notice that he's not placing well anymore?
Guess why.... he lowered drastically his doses, to show what he preaches.
Even Iain Valliere said that in a couple of videos...
Didn't John win a 212 show this past year and then compete at the Olympia? Seems pretty good to me.I don't want to be disrespectful but people in those years are really DUMB.

Of course not everyone needs it, but anyone who uses AAS and has put ten on some size and needs to be monitoring and addressing bp. And if you’re gonna be on bp meds this is a pretty damn good onenot everyone needs this drug. you have to understand how it works and if there are other things you can do to have your bp in check. on paper it sounds really good, but lotta guys have taken it when they were border line hypertensive and it gave them more side effects than benefits. also some have talked about being on it and it never changed their hemoglobin hematocrit etc. so yes on paper it sounds like holy grail but in reality probably not.
if you do have high bp and are going to chose a med it might be a good one. but people freak out and if they are 5-10 points above 120/80 they jump on a bp med.
stick to cardio, hydration and low dose cialis for bp control than jumping to ARB/ACE right away.
lotta people took it while having normal BP and ending up with vertigo, gut issues, low bp etc .
no drug is for everyone or needed by everyone. nothing new here.
Why not? People jump on the AAS bandwagon cause some bodybuilder says the should?I absolutely agree with guys monitoring and addressing BP and their is some good info shared in this video.
I tried 6 or 7 different BP meds (including Telmisartan) prescribed by 3 different doctors before finding a combo (meds and doctor) that worked really well.
Regular cardio, which I'm not crazy about, has helped greatly.
I couldn't imagine jumping on the 'Telmisartan Bandwagon' just because some bodybuilder recommended it out of dozens of choices. That's plain stupid in my opinion.

not sure him but another board im on it was an issue/ side effect noted by a few. also on reddit.Who? Ben Chow?
Of course there are. And people shoukd t be indiscriminately taking it unless they have bp issues. Of course they got vertigo, you drop your blood pressure when you don’t have high bp you’ll be dizzy as fuck!not sure him but another board im on it was an issue/ side effect noted by a few. also on reddit.
just a reminder its not always pros there are cons just with any drug.
i think they took low dose like 20mg for other befits reported like hematocrit control etc and saw none of those things on blood work but had vertigo and other side effects. I think the way john is talking about it on his podcast people might think lets just take it for good measure etc, not how it should be taken.Of course there are. And people shoukd t be indiscriminately taking it unless they have bp issues. Of course they got vertigo, you drop your blood pressure when you don’t have high bp you’ll be dizzy as fuck!
But if you do have hypertension, you’d be hard pressed to find a better drug for treating it than telmisartan. And obviously losing bodyfat and exercising is key. Also….more guys need to be looking into sleep apnea for bp issues
what was your bp before you started? what dose did you settle on? how much did it lower it.I personally take telimisartan and there was an improvement in my lipid profile and my bp. just my 2 cents.
That man doesnt want to die lolI don't want to be disrespectful but people in those years are really DUMB.

totally agree. ask me years ago i would just take X drug to fix the side effects of Y drug . sometimes removing things is better than adding things.This. I have had my BP get high before, lowering dosage, limiting caffeine, cutting out coffee/energy drinks, lowering stress, (even changing jobs) losing weight, adding cardio brought it back down. Never considered medication unless it was a last resort and then would think very carefully.
Id say the average person would benefit (not even talking about guys who lift) from having a more preventive mindset rather than adding another pill to their regimen. So many people now days haphazardly take medication and don't even consider the reactions they have with other medicine they are taking.
