Low dose daily cialis for BP?

has anyone tracked how much of a drop they get in readings from 5mg daily of Cialis? is it comparable to carditone or low dose telimistraton.

cialis was initally created for BP or maybe viagra but then remarkted for ED.

Yep same here…..I believe cialis does work but I personally needed telmisartan with a low dose of cialis to keep my bp in range. 40 mg of telmisartan and 5 cialis daily or 10 cialis EOD is perfect for me but everyone is different.

Cialis (5mg) did nothing for my bp. Telmisartam works fine.

Both taken propilactively(sp), prostate and bp.

what do you guys think is bad bp on cycle. when i cruise i am around 117/68 and on blast i am 127-130 / 72. no bp meds. it the 10 point increase in top number for 12-16 weeks really that damaging?

It’s the bottom number that’s more important. The 130 wouldn’t be fantastic long term, but it’s not bad when blasting

As I got older mine would creep up to 150’s/low 80’s. Your numbers are good.
Got mine checked yesterday for my physical and it was 123/75. 71bpm I was happy.

Sort of. When you pump up a BP cuff, it cuts off the blood supply. You hear no sounds with a stethoscope. As you slowly release pressure you'll begin to hear a faint pulse, that's your systolic pressure, as more air is released the pulse will get louder and then as the capillaries fully reopen the audible pulse gets fainter until no longer audible. That's your diastolic.

Your diastolic is the outward force exerted on the inside of your capillaries. It's really your true BP. But systolic is also important because it can determine how much contractile force your heart requires to pump blood through your body. It could be high if your blood is thick (high HCT) or you have plaque or are overweight. So obviously very important.

Diastolic is more about blood volume and lack of pliability (hardening of the arteries) which can both lead to an increase in contractile force resulting in a higher systolic and severe heart problems.

Either diastolic or systolic being too high (or too low) is bad - but both are interrelated and are much less useful independently.

Same here, Cialis barely made a dent in my BP numbers where Telmisartan makes a noticeable difference. I use both for BP and other known reason to use either one of them. Happy with the combo of Telmisartan and Cialis together for BP management. This morning I was 127/82 with a HR of 70.

I have never noticed any blood pressure decrease taking cialis and I have taken a lot of cialis.

It appears that it may lower BP for those that need it. As i remember a pharmaceutical company was doing a study on the that a while back but don't know where that went.

I notice when i take 5 to 10mg cialis daily i wake up less to pee at night, like half as much actually.

I too use GoodRx for my Cialis. I get a 90 day supply at Safeway
for next to nothing (comparatively). I think it is something like
$40. If you look at the retail price, it is like robbing a bank

Yes for sure. At least if only used sparingly. If taken on a daily basis, it isn't as bad after a few days. It also makes my skin and eyes red so I end up having to use eye drops (this does not go away for me). So it does come with some downsides.
