High Cholesterol what should I take

I'd say continue doing what you are doing through trial and error in your diet. Just to note, the blood lipid number ranges have changed a lot over the past 40 years making statins a huge profit maker. I watched the revelatino of the feaud over that time as research completely contradicted big pharma claims. I will never take a statin. It hampers ALL steroid synthesis at the HMG co-A synthase step. It doesn't just fuck your cholesterol synthesis. You don't have a statin deficiency. Most likely you are someone that should adjust diet and exercise to optimize health markers. On a side note, tamoxifen shifts blood lipids in a favorable ratio. I'm not saying to use it but just to note. It's been around for 50 years with a good safety profile.
What is with tamoxifen?

Effective for lipids? An off label use?
 
I'd be looking at dietary, supplemental and cardiovascular exercise changes to assist in improving lipid markers before Pharma drugs.

It does help lipids but I'm a little wary of this compound because of what's going on with clotting issues "right now".

I don't think so. It would be off label if so. It is a breast cancer me but has been studied in other applications such as osteoporosis and of course gynecomastia.
 
Alway look up contraindications when contemplating or prescribed any med. WebMD does a pretty good job.

I’m not a professional or making money doing this. I thought I’m literally putting myself in harms way for nothing.

Cut my protein intake in half
Fasted cardio everyday
Cardio post work out
Limited my red meat intake
Upped apple cider vinegar
Garlic supp
Fish oil
Good to go now
I'm really glad to hear that you in a good place. I'm getting the impression that both physically and mentally you are doing well.

What are your numbers?

Ignorantly on my part I don't know what my numbers are. This visit was mainly focused on knee issues but I was due for blood work. She just pointed out that one number had risen from 125 to 191.

This rise has not been caused by gear. It's from inactivity from injury and chronic pain and poor diet as I'd been out of the gym the better part of the year.
 
It's impossible to give you a good answer without knowing more details. Yes you could take x, y and z and that would be an easy fix but you have included no details. Your cholesterol is high? What is high? Can you post all your cholesterol markers. Are they always high? Have you had much blood work in the past? How old are you? Are you on cycle now? Any orals? Do you plan to go on multiple aas blasts in the future? What is your diet like? Do you do cardio? Any changes (diet, aas, medications etc) recently?

There are so many factors involved and it could be an easy fix. Include more info and we can better assist you. Your numbers could be a temporary issue due to changes in AAS and diet and/or you may just need a little boost so 1-2 supps and some cardio would help or you could be in need of something much stronger so all of the above plus medication.
Yea I posted that comment in a very newbie fashion. I should have mentioned that I'm only consider natural/herbal supplements at the current time as well as listing a few particulars about myself.

Ignorantly I'm unaware of my cholesterol numbers as that wasn't the focus of the doctor visit and foolishly I glossed over that topic. At the moment I can't find the paperwork I was given... things have been hectic. My physician is not placing me on medication yet as she wants to give me the opportunity to get it back down on my own.

I've dealt with multiple injuries/ailments and chronic pain this year. Being out of the gym I just ate frozen dinners all day. High cholesterol has never been an issue or concern in the past. Thus I surmise that the rise in my numbers stems from inactivity, poor diet and stress.

I'm 35. High cholesterol does run in my fathers side of the family. I do not blast per se as I've never gone above 800 mg of test or 600 mg of deca or eq.
I believe I'm fairly reasonable when it comes to gear and the only issue I've had is elevated BP when taking anadrol, of which recedes once I discontinue the drol.

Most things are fine other than the elevated cholesterol as my BP has averaged from 117 to 123 over 76 to 80.

Since posting the message I've starting taking taking high quality krill and fish oil as well as arjuna and citrus bergamot. Slowly increasing "cardio" activity of walking and riding the mechanical recumbent bicycle. I tried the elliptical machine the other day and strangely my knee couldn't handle it. The injures and physical issues I'd mentioned earlier are plantar fasciitis right foot, achilies tendinitis left ankle, patellar tendinitis both knees but worse on the right side and a slipped disc in the lumbar. I've worked through the ankle and foot issue and the back is trending in the right direction. However the knee is really lagging behind. Thankfully I am undertaking physically therapy for both and just received seperate consults so that the back and knees can be treated individually giving more time for therapy on the specific issue.

I wrestled growing up and maintain a good diet is not an issue when I'm able to place the incentive to do i.e gym activity and physical/aesthetic goals. I just fell into despondency when the physical level of pain and the hinderence toward daily activity got really bad.
Of note: I've just started undertaking therapy in the Pain Managment Course to address the effects that chronic pain has on ones mental and emotional state.

Has my lipids good.
I'm only taking 200 mg of Kaneka Q10 (Ubiquinone) as I've read that it can interfere with sleep. As a combat veteran sleep is always a concern.

I'm taking everything else you've listed sans the TRT but I'm taking 2g Krill and 3g Fish Omega.
 
1200 mg Red Yeast Rice (I use Jarrow from Amazon) / day brought my cholesterol down about 30 points in like 6 months. Significantly lowered a few other people I've recommended it to as well
I remember when the FDA raided the Hi-tech facility they also confiscated red yeast rice claiming the company was marketing a pharmaceutical drug.

Good luck with your approach. I stopped for 10 years and started back up in my late 40s looking to restore some lost vigor as I aged. It took a while for my hormones to come back but everything came back and I went on to continue to be in shape and did martial arts through the whole decade at a pretty high level. So steroids are good and well but not necessary. Now I'm hooked back in but mostly to improve quality of life as my natural hormones dropped off due to age.

Trigs - 76
HDL - 65
LDL - 100

Didn't change diet and don't do cardio.

I just got my bloods and my bloods done

Chol- 216
Trigs- 120
HDL- 30
LDL- 166

Doc also put me on Crestor.

See how it goes.
