I just got my bloodwork back for a Lyme antibody test.

41 KDD (IGG) BAND - REACTIVE
All others negative or non reactive

Right now I'm struggling to find good or what seems to be reliable resources. A lot of "hollistic" recommendations like yoga and epsom salt baths etc.

So. Any opinions on medication, supplements, resources would really be appreciated!

Thanks bros

Not sure - all i know is I came back from costa Rica and was fucked up 2 years later I found out I had lyme at one time..def was costa Rica

Didn't take anything at all - I think i got lucky no long last effects

I was a false negative. I had it for at least 4 years. It got really bad. Find a Dr that specializes in Lyme. How long do you think you've had it? I was on Doxycylin for a year. And I still take a transdermal resveratrol witch helps keep it in remission. It can effect everyone differently. A lot of people get messed up hormones so TRT and t3 might be in you future.

Find a Dr. that specializing in integrative medicine using IV therapy. Double pass Ozone is very effective.

i know that shit scares me, one research says one Doxycylin tab after exposure will greatly reduce odds of getting it, so i pop one of those anytime just being out in woods

anti ox are the way to go. oral generally are not strong enough.
very high doses of cdb with thc plant form.
sun is important as are general health factors.
i think its generally a long process.

I know three guys with Lyme. All very sick for many years nothing has helped them. They all seem to be losing their minds. They all got really strange

One of my sons had Lyme disease when he was 3. We guess he got it a couple months prior to one day waking up and not being able to put any weight on a leg. They put him on a very strong course of antibiotics for awhile and he has had no issues since then four years later. We worked with a Lyme disease specialist at a major hospital.

Doxy keeps it from multiplying while your body fights it off.

Back when you did res it's one of the things that really helped me. It won't let active lyme borrow into tissue so it can't hide.

Looking for a Doc as soon as I can get health insurance...

I have no idea when I got it. Had some health issues in the past with fatigue but who knows.

Doxy for a year? Wow I would imagine that would destroy your gut biome no?

Can you share what brand of transdermal reseveratrol you use? What frequency etc? Ever try injectable or nasal forms?

By anti ox you mean antioxidant correct? So what would you take exactly?

Glutathione? Resveratrol? Any others?

Really appreciate your input especially on this topic!

Do we know each other... Jk. I have fatigue but the mental effects are really the worst: no drive, I feel incredibly dumb from the brain fog, loss of confidence and so on.

Yeah it does mess with gut health. I had it really bad though. I did injectable when LK3 sold it. I would have been on antibiotics longer but thr resveratrol keeps the bacteria from burrowing and hiding. Now I just mix resveratrol in dmso.

Try 400mg Humanofort per day, it naturally occurring Cationic peptides and Thymosin Beta 4, and 2 MMB 750 capsules per day. You can purchase both product here on PM store.

Cationic peptides have been found to have activity against both Gram negative and Gram positive bacteria as well as fungi, eukaryotic parasites, and viruses [3]. Most importantly, cationic peptides are effective against strains of antibiotic resistant bacteria

Action of cationic peptides on outer membrane

In Gram negative bacteria, it is hypothesized that cationic peptides interact with the highly negatively charged outer membrane. The surface of the membrane contains magnesium ions which function to neutralize the charge and it is believed that the cationic peptides displace these magnesium ions [3]. The peptides then either bind tightly to the negatively charged membrane lipopolysaccharide (LPS) or neutralize the charge over an area of membrane subsequently distorting the membrane structure [3]. Once this occurs the peptides can translocate across the outer membrane.

2. Action of cationic peptides on cytoplasmic membrane

The bacterial cytoplasmic membrane is also negatively charged. Cationic peptides can insert in a position parallel to the membrane lipids and fold into membrane-bound structures leading to four possible outcomes [3]:

  • cell lysis, although this is not very likely at physiological concentrations of cationic peptide
  • channel formation, where the peptides reorient themselves in the cytoplasmic membrane in such a way that they form channels leading to a breakdown in membrane integrity
  • the carpet model where cationic peptides cause the catastrophic breakdown of the membrane integrity
  • direct killing of the bacterial cell by peptides attacking internal targets like cellular polyanions (for example, nucleic acids) in the cytoplasm after diffusing through both membranes
Roles in immunity

Cationic peptides not only directly kill bacteria, they also have profound effects on the host system [8,12-14]. It has been shown that cationic peptides can function to sequester LPS shed from Gram negative bacteria. This LPS functions as an endotoxin potentially leading to sepsis [3]. Cationic peptides have also been found to be potent chemo-attractants, recruiting antigen-presenting cells, which can initiate responses by the adaptive immune system [15]. They have also been known to recruit mast cells (a type of white blood cell).

Just watched this video of Tim Feriss w/ Rhonda Patrick.

Tim mentions he thinks the long term effects of Lyme are really the antibiotics ruining your gut biome. Might be worth looking into.

He also says a ketogenic diet helped him feel better post Lyme.

Thanks. Yeah I'm on keto. And it took 2 years to get gut flora back to normal, lots of kimchi. It also depends on where it attacks you. I've got some permanent joint and hormone problems.

Exact same symptoms bro. And don’t destroy your self with those fucking antibiotics they have people on all the time. That alone will make you feel like ass
