Struggling with feeling flat

Hey guys, currently on 600/400/400 test/mast/primo. Been feeling flat lately, cold, not sweating much and pretty bad pumps.

Is it possibly low e2? I’m not on any AI

Eating plenty carbs and sodium. Staying hydrated.

I know this has been said time after time but I think it bears repeating (the last part).

To start, take your blood pressure and temperature every morning before getting out of bed. Then go weigh yourself.

Record them with a rough outline of you ‘diet’ the day before.

Give this bit more time to resolve, failing that, get a blood test and a qualified professional to interpret the results. It’s probably nothing serious (not a doc) but worth checking out if it persists and is effecting your way of life.

My 0.02 cents worth.

I’m a bit confused as to what you’re implying with this. Why would I take my temp?

I eat the same diet every day.

Cold, sweating, bad pumps.

Maybe you are just looking for a simple answer. I don’t know.

I hope you get this resolved.

I’m just looking for the most logical answer, if that’s what you mean. That’s why I’m a bit confused about what you’re implying.

yeah, there probably is not a simple answer. I doubt e2 is low but if OP wants to know for sure he could just pull bloods and see.
If I was personally worried and not feeling good, I might just pull bloods to see if any of my other markers were out of whack.

There might be a ‘logical’ answer. That is why I posted what I posted.

I feel fine otherwise, just flat in the gym lol. I’m not that worried. When I say “cold”, I don’t mean I have a cold. I just mean I don’t feel myself getting as intense in the gym, getting a sweat on etc.

I am not implying anything. Nothing to read into this.
Gotchya, my apologies.

I am not feeling sick otherwise, fortunately. Just a bit lethargic and flat, which is why I thought perhaps the mast/primo combo was pushing me into low e2 territory. I pin ED as well.

Can’t help too much without diet, standard blood panel and photos mate.

Anything anyone says is pure conjecture. I run at most 200 test and high EQ or Primo and E2 is always within range (albeit slightly below median).

How I respond though may be completely different than you of course.

When I have weeks however that mimic your stated side effects it’s usually due to low sodium intake.

Perhaps my sodium was off, I do appreciate that.

I would look at sodium for culprit typically, but I have felt a bit soft. However... that could just be an illusion from the flatness.

Funny you posted this and my training today…. Bare with me here.

Morning 90 min peloton ride
Second session 30 incline walk + 45 min sprints + three 10 min sauna sessions
Taught outside for 6 hours

6:55pm right now, all I’ve eaten is a bowl of oats + protein powder, two electrolyte shakes, athletic greens and half a mates PB+J sammich (I know…)

Currently in the sauna at 175 for 13 min warming up for this afternoons durability session and barely sweating and flat as hell.

Popping 2 grams of sodium tabs and 16 ounces of water as we speak.

Glad you ran upon this thread bro.

I feel this state is honestly surprisingly easy to reach for people that eat clean and train hard + regularly.

What’s “plenty” of carbs? Grams?
How much water?

Carb+ water+ sodium = pump , even with low estrogen you’ll get a pump.

How much cardio are u doin ? If any

3 things come to mind.

1. Possible bunk gear
2. Possibly overstraining
3. Insufficient diet or nutrition

Other then that, do a full blood panel.

Not really giving us too much info here.

1. are you dieting?
2. What are your cals? Rest of your nutrition plan?
3. Have u felt like this for awhile? Is this something that just happened?
4. What changes happened (gear, food, cardio) to make you feel like this?
5. Maybe its all in your head.

We don't have enough to tell you but if want me to paint with a very broad brush there is one main issue that is often the culprit...you need to do a mini (or not so mini) diet. Even on this board when people say "I'm eating tons of carbs" but no pump, flat, etc. the answer 90%+ of the time is they have been eating way too much for too long they cut the calories (and often carbs), shed some fat, strategically add some carbs back in and next thing you know their pumps return.

Heck even guys like meadows and other coaches would do "mini cuts" when pumps start to fade, etc.

Granted, this may not be remotely your issue at all.

I'd say this. How many sets per week, total time in gym per week, minutes of cardio, total calories, carb intake and sodium in mg per day
