I herniated my c6-c7. The pain is annoying but manageable. Problem is it's pinching a nerve, i think the radial nerve, which is putting a huge block on most of my left arm.
I have this limp wrist thing going on because the muscles in the forearm are being effected. I can barely hold the skillet while cooking eggs without my wrist collapsing.
I cant seem to flex my left lat. It just doesn't feel like it's firing properly so I can't seem to really contract it. I think some of the muscles in the front of the shoulder are being effected.
It seems like my left arm is maybe 65% of its normal strength. I don't really feel pain when training it just feels weak.
I'm not really sure how to proceed. All the doc says is take 12 weeks off from lifting.
Has anyone been through nerve and muscle issues from disc herniation and if so what did they do to restore strength in those muscle groups.
