Mitigating water retention on cycle

What’s everyone’s go to methods?

I already to the basics like dandelion root, an ARB, keeping e2 in check etc.

What do you guys do? I try to keep my sodium and hydration consistent…

Sometimes it’s just insanely uncomfortable to be holding excess water!
 
Consistent cardio. Limiting Alcohol. No high sodium/processed foods. Consistent water intake all day.
 
Anti E. If it can’t be controlled with that (had that issue when I went really high with Test), than lower the dose and swap for another compound like EQ, Tren, Primo. I’m not a fan of throwing more and more drugs into the mix to control sides.

What anti e do you find more effective? I’m using aromasin
 
Personally I use Letro. Have tried them all and it doesn’t effect my panels any worse than the others. It’s just more effective for me.

the secret, however, lies in the diet and water balance.
water-salt-potassium and carbohydrates

drink a lot, no less than 3-4 liters of water a day.
eat 3-4 g of salt
keep potassium at 1:1 ratio with salt or even better at 1:2 in favor of potassium.
then 3-4 or 6-8 grams of potassium.

remember that every gram of carbohydrate binds to about 3 grams of water.

the body tries to stay in homeostasis and find a balance point.
subcutaneous water is about 20%, while 80% is inside the muscle.
every time you create a decompensation, taking diuretics or in any case trying to remove water from the subcutaneous tissue, there will then be the opposite effect.t

Maintain a regular diet throughout the week and then make one adjustment at a time.

As for hormones, what cycle are you on?
products, doses, time...

What if the guy is on telmisartan
 
Steorids in them self allows your muscle cells to increase intra cellular water retention, also they increase mineral retention etc so there is so freakin many pathways you would have to cover to remove all extra water.
 
I prefer drier compounds that don’t increase fluid retention like mast, tren. I also prefer NPP to deca even though it requires pinning more often. I always keep SERMs and AI’s on hand but have never had to use the for fluid retention. As @PhillD said it is most about diet, which would include carbs, electrolytes and water. Balance these and you should be fine.

What i’m saying is that you’re advising him to take 8g of potassium…..
 
I definitely would throw the ratio of potassium to sodium that PhilD recommended of 1:2 sodium to potassium out the window as an athlete.

We are sweating excessive amounts in the gym, during training and cardio. As Luki said we already put ourselves at higher risk of hyperkalemia with our PEDs, and then if you were to add additional potassium you’re playing with fire. Especially on an ARB.

If anything I keep my sodium much higher than my potassium. Lots of what we eat like unprocessed meat, potatoes, avocado etc are already high potassium foods. The key is consistency with your intake of these electrolytes so your aldosterone doesn’t try and compensate and make you hold excess. It’ll happen some times if you over or under do your intake, but should fix itself relatively quickly when back on track.

Just my 2 cents.
 
I really like Test, Deca, and GH together but they make me hold water. It takes a lil tweek at a time to get in check. Lower sodium, 1.5gal of water with some electrolytes throughout the day help me significantly. IDK how much potassium is in my foods throughout the day…? Never calculated that. I’ve always just supplemented about 1-2 grams of potassium throughout the day. BP increase due to water retention is somewhat controlled with Lisinopril and/or Propranolol. I used 12.5mg Aromasin day after pinning so 25mg a week keeps my Estrogen in check.
