Ok so I tried a new PR(personal record) the other night, kept my bodyweight low, 5'7" 200lbs and 4% bodyfat or so...

I went for 700lbs on a box squat, I missed it. Just prior to that I actually hit 675x4 and burned myself out...

Now a boxsquat is a parallel only squat and it is designed to adjust the CNS and muscles to heavier weight, so that one can do full range of motion squats with heavier weight, they are still a solid 90 degrees. These are more common in strongman and Powerlifting then in bodybuilding.

Anyways, on my other Strongman site, in honor of one of the Worlds Strongest Man competitors Jesse Marunde who passed away during training a few years ago.. I am helping run a fundraiser where I will be attempting 500lbsx20 box squat next week...Please check out the link and encourage me to hit this goal, again I intend to attempt this at a bodyweight of only 200lbs so this is not an easy task!!!

But you dont look parallel in the photo.
 
if you made 675 for 4 i'm sure you are good for over 700 for a PR. if you had just done 1 at 675 you would have nailed it. you should get your 500 for 20 no problem but have a puke bucket nearby just in case!! excellent numbers for only 200 lbs. RIP Jesse....i remember him from seeing him on tv.
 
Incredible strenght!! Major kudos fella. Be very careful, strenght records at your low bf are very dangerous, you are playing with gorilla weights (stollen from b-boy, realy loved the term)

yeah, 4% is low. You must be ready to compete in a show tomorrow. 4% is tough to hold for longer than a very short period of time.
 
Maybe 4% is a bit low of an estimte but he is pretty ripped so people on here should stop being such judgemental jackasses since he is probably more ripped than you and a hell of a lot stronger......

Agreed. I know Wes personally and have trained side by side with him. In fact, that picture was taken in the gym I train at. He is stronger/more knowledgeable than most people that I know. It's funny how quickly people jump on someone before they have any idea what the hell is going on.
 
that's a hell of alot of weight no matter what percent.....so what if he's off with his bf percent calculation. get over it.
 
Just for clarity, I wasn't doubting him I just like to see people with really low body fat. It is impressive at the very least to be lifting like that being really lean.
