I am currently running test e at 750 mg/week, taking 4 ml sythetine per day and 4 ml synthergine per day. I am in week 10 of this program and my gains have been great...up 16 lbs and body fat is down. I am having problems where I am constantly out of breath. People around me are noticing it as well. I get winded if I do any physical work as little as going up stairs. I sprint 1-1.5 miles after every workout and I also starting training in BJJ two weeks ago so I am getting plenty of cardio. I have had bloodwork done twice in the last two months and everything was normal. I think I might need to go see a cardiologist. Any suggestions as to why I am experiencing this would be appreciated.
Thanks

interesting. i was having the same experience. Walking up a slight hill to the putting green, going up stairs...etc. What happens when u lie down? do u SOB? I went to a cardiologist too and they did an EEG or a stress test where u walk on the treadmill and then they get ur heart rate up to certain beats per min. and they have all these wires attached to u to see a pic of ur heart when it was stressed. Came back normal. I lost about 23 pounds and have had no SOB issues anymore.

Have you checked your blood pressure lately?

That sucks man.Do you do cardio at all? Monitor your HR and see if it is comparable to what it as before the cycle at a givin speed or workout. Def. Check BP as well.

I do fine when I sit or lay down. I get SOB getting off the couch and walking into the kitchen. I checked my blood pressure two weeks ago and it was in the upper section of what is considered ok. I feel like my blood pressure is higher right now though. Why did you lose 23lbs? Did the cardiologist make you stop working out?

I'm confused???

Maybe I'm missing something... you sprint and do BJJ... but you get winded walking up the stairs???

Shortness of breath can definitely be something serious... if it were me and I either had the resources or health insurance I would insist on seeing a specialist.

Concerned about my own cardiovascular health/fitness I've begun to wear a heart rate monitor... I just started a couple of days ago but it has been interesting to see how my HR is effected by various activities... such as taking a dump.

It is odd that u get SOB but u dont when u sprint. I lost the 23 lbs., cuz i was to big. Carrying all that extra weight and doing AAS made my BP sky rocket to 185/95 consistently. My cardio. put me on BP and they didnt do jack. so i changed my diet and exercise routine, added aromasin to any cycle and now my BP is perfect with no meds 110/65. Is ur abdomen didtended at all? what do u weigh? No liver issues?

Check your BP for sure.

Also, gaining weight for MMA is not always preferred, especially quick weight gain (in addition with water retention and fat).

More muscle = more 02 needs to be supplied to the body and muscles. The body needs time to adapt to the newfound muscle. This is one reason why even in sports, athletes have to find their ideal weight to perform optimally, and gain weight slowly so they do not get gassed-out on the field. For example, Shannon Sharpe, who at the time he played TE for the Ravens in their Superbowl years, used to state the same thing. He could gain weight easily, but had to drop down 20-30 lbs due to cardiovascular purposes that would effect his breathing and perfromance. Remember him sucking down the Oxygen on the sidelines;)

BMJ

Could be heart struggling cope, from water on lungs or the fast gain of weight be careful. I had drop heap muscle as started to have heart failure :)

Well my wife now thinks I have sleep apnea. I have been snoring terribly at night to where she has to go sleep in the guest room. Last night she said I was taking about 5 breathes and then I would stop breathing for about 30 seconds (symptoms of sleep apnea). I do get SOB when I run or do the BJJ but I always push through it. I just figured it was normal. I honestly think most of this is being caused by the excessive weight gain. Like I said, I have put almost 20 lbs on in about 10 weeks and my body fat has been reduced. The heart is really working it seems like to keep up.
