So, found this. It's the FLEX athletes on mainstream ESPN. I think this is a cool bit because it shows bodybuilding in a positive light.

However, any average joe who sees this is going to think, "Oh they're on steroids." Is it possible that the media is shifting attention to bodybuilding for the next big sports drug bust? Is this media good for the sport? idk...

I mean, Mark Mcgwire was all over the media which made it a 'big deal' when he was caught using AAS.

With the amount of money involved in the health and fitness industry, I'm surprised a major network hasn't done more with these guys in promoting and televising contests and having programs that document and follow their careers. Maybe this is the start of moving our sport more towards getting recognized and the athletes getting the respect that they deserve.

Guys in this league of the game are anything but health and fitness. Not exactly a poster child for sales to the majority general public.

I know its a weird thing. When you go to the gym there are lots of guys who lift seriously, and are mildly at least interested in bodybuilding. There are multiple magazines on the newsstands that cover the sport (Flex MD,exct) yet nothing on TV. There is bass fishing, womens pool, equestrian but no bodybuilding. There is plenty of strongest man yet no bodybuilding. Maybe its for the better, imagine the top guys or any IFBB pro trying to tell some reporter hes drug free? Imagine Congress questioning a panel of Jay Cutler, Kai Green, Branch Warren and Ronnie Coleman concerning thier use of "PEDS"!!!!.....lol

I often wondered how the mags survive. then, when Iworked at a place that sold the mags. A lot of the purchasers appeared to have never touched a weight. Gay porn.

.....HA HA thats funny....probaly true though...sometimes i laugh, i spend half my time on the computer looking at naked women, the other half at half naked men...lol
