My old training partner

This is Gerard my old training partner from some years back. We stopped training together when i moved. When we were training together he was about 325lbs at 5'11" and an absolute power house. He is a professional strongman, and an incredible athlete as well. Former semi pro football player, and also a silver medal golden gloves boxer. I am posting this because I have not seen him in some time, and caught up with him this past week. He is now up to about 375lbs. He is a fucking GIANT, and couldnt be a nicer guy.

Yeah...he is a cool guy. 405 on incline like nothing...couldnt keep up with that. lol

I don't get your reasoning for your comment? We're not talking about someone like Marcus Rhule(?) or anyone of that caliber. The guy pictured here looks like he trains and eats for his competitions in a respectful way. And doesn't abuse it. So carrying around 325-375 for him would be a piece of cake. Unlike someone who is a couch potatoe and weighs 350. Most NFL line men are about 300 + and live life to the fullest. And have excellent doctors visits. So let's try and rethink your thoughts here.

I wonder how much muscle is underneath? That, and his tendon/ligament strength must be off the charts.

Strongmen DO what bodybuilders LOOK like they can do. I'd be frightened of the weights he uses.

Yeah..even when i was up at 270..i felt like a midget next to him..lol He was a great training partner. I was always motivated to train like an animal.

Probaqbly just as easily as you weighing 150#'s soakin wet in a pair of combat boots.
