Unexplained foot growth

Im 44 years old. About 4 years ago I started using gear and dedicated myself to some serious bodybuilding. At that time, my shoe size was an 8 1/2.
Now, my feet are pushing a 10 1/2. Next time I buy a pair of shoes it will probably be a size 11.

Side note; My feet are completely flat. Flat as a table top. My footprint is oval.
I like to do a lot of squats and leg presses. I'm wondering if maybe all the weight has pressed my feet out?

Probably caused your GH levels to go up and in turn you noticed foot growth. I know test and most likely other AAS can increase gh just not sure to what degree.

Administering exogenous HGH can have that effect as well.

Well I never used hgh. But I did use ighr13 way at the begining mixed with alot of tren and test. I grew pretty quickly. But my feet still seem to keep growing.

That's crazy..I heard of elbows, jaw, and forehead growth from GH..but never that.

Adult flexable flat foot collapse

OK, First let me say that this is just ONE POSSIBILITY bro. I know a bit about joint issues on an orthopedic level from past education and work experience.
One possibility is Adult Flexable FLat Foot: This condition is very common in adults in their 30's-40's who have done alot of weight bearing activity over the years. The foot actually does have an arch when lifted off the ground or there is no weight on it. It then collapses into a flat foot position when weight is applied. Usually, the longer you have the condition, the less "flexible" the foot becomes and eventually the bones can remain in the flat position. The usual shoe size goes up in males by 2 sizes or so..... This may not be what you have, but the shoe does seem to fit...... Uh, bad joke.....lol
If you are not experiencing pain then there isn't really a reason to go see the foot doctor. If you are experiencing pain, then possibilities are orthotics for your shoes, surgery (I actually was a national product specialist for an "internal orthotic" implant sold to podiatrists in a previous lifetime.... I also sold ortho implants in the OR for 7 years before getting my Masters and working as a Physiologist.)
I have just seen it a lot and have the condition myself... Hope that helps your curiousity at least

Funny how this post just came along as it was only a month or two ago I was just saying how I think my feet are growing that I've always worn a size 11 shoe and now I need about a 11.5-12. Not near as extreme as the OP but definitely a difference considering I'm 30 years old and worn the same shoe size for a good 10 years or so... I started weight lifting when I was 25.

consider yourself lucky...you what women say about men with big feet? (no homo)

It's GH. I had the same thing happen to me a few years ago.

That's a myth. If it was true, Bozo would have done porn, not that clown gig. :p

Big Evil's explanation sounds likely to me

My feet grew a size around my mid 40's and I was not using any gh. We also tend to get shorter as we age. It all has to do with gravity and age combined.

Totally normal what you are describing. As we age our arches drop while weight bearing and foot lenghtens which increases shoe size. You will probably notice holding your foot up while sitting you have an arch BUT while standing(weight bearing) your foot flattens.Totally normal as many anatomical and physiological changes happen with age.

x2.

Get some solid arch supports for your daily use and try to be conscious of keeping your arches flexed when you're working out.

I've shrank my feet from touching the end of 14's to now comfortably fitting in my 13's by using this method.

Some great perspectives in this thread...my question is...doesn't weight bearing activities strengthen the arches?

advancing a ligament

There are so many variable with anatomical changes of the feet like collapsed arches. Yes, weight bearing activity helps bone density and also strengthens the supprorting ligaments.... However, here is another possibility that is also occurs......
One of the most common surgeries that I have are when the supporting medial ligament stretches a bit too much over time to support the arch properly. The foot rolls forward and to the inside when you put weight on it creating the flat foot. If the arch still remains when the load is taken off the surgeon can re-attach the ligament at a diiferent point on the bone in order to get the anatomy back to it's "normal" allignment.

I see...that does make sense...

Thanks for the info.
But I should have explained something a little better.
I was born with flat feet. Completely flat. Absolutely no arch at all! My ankles actually turn inward. Needless to say, I suck at running.
I was thinking, maybe because they are flat, that led to my feet geetting pressed out further when I started doing lots of squats and carrying around more weight.

My feet have got larger I thought it was just age. my ears are bigger now than 25 years ago. I thought ears and feet got bigger with age. Heard that somewhere. Maybe it is not a myth
